I am Guy. I've been studying the Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering at Central for the last 2 years.
The time tables are always pretty good for me to allow me to work and study.
so I try to get as much study done on one day, so I try to arrive at Central as early as I could maybe around 8 o'clock, 7:30 and set myself up for the day and go through my classes as they timetabled.
and hang out with my mates at lunch time, bit of a relax time and back into the books,
and whether that was theory or computer-based CAD, there is always something on each day, which there is always something to learn.
There is a plenty of cafes in the area, so we go have a coffee or grab a bite to eat, so generally there is sort of a relaxed time for us , which is great.
and Central is located right in the heart of the city, it's a great place to study.
Studying a city is easier to get as well, public transport saves on parking; there is no parking fees either so it's a lot easier when you are on a student budget
And also the location, on your break you can head into the city and do a bit of shopping, grab something to eat, and catch up with mates who maybe working in the city.
I think Central is a great way to start your learning. It gives you a good base understanding of concepts that needed in the workforce,
and it can be a faster route into the workforce as well rather than doing a 4 year degree. You can get an advanced diploma in 2 years, and your knowledge is quite good.
And it allows you to move into the workforce in a decent position.
I think best things about studying at Central are that it's been quite flexible with my hours, even I've been full-time.
And they've worked around and allowed me to do as much work in the workforce as possible, which has really helped my learning experience.
And also the understanding. The teaches listen to you while way through, and there is no hierarchy in Central I found, and it's been a great learning experience.
