On the Disney Magic we're creating this whole new dining experience for our guests, we're
taking classic elements, we're bringing new elements and we're absolutely transforming
it for our guests. Well, our big concept is the rotational dining so every night you dine
at a different restaurant so we really wanted to bring new experiences to the guests -- so
for example in Cabanas, we're bringing in the concept that we brought to the Dream and
the Fantasy, which is doing away with the buffet lines and doing more of buffet stations --
the guests are enjoying that more, it's more free-flowing and we're bringing in a new theme
-- all these east Australian colors on the beach front, the Nemo & Friends characters
all over the restaurant -- it's going to be a great new experience for the guests.
Parrot Cay we're transforming into Carioca's with a Brazilian theme. We wanted it to be
elegant for the night time but we wanted it to be fun as well and also have that fun for
the day time. We have all the colors of the lanterns and it's really this fun festival
space. Animator's Palate is a classic -- it's a beautiful restaurant -- the classic black
and white that transforms to color during the dinner shows -- great excitement to keep
the essence of the space the way it looks today but we really wanted to bring in all
the new technology so that we can bring to the guests the Animation Magic show -- the
whole space will light up all different colors and we'll bring all these new amazing shows
to the guests. Palo is our elegant restaurant for adults only -- great menu, great elegant
atmosphere. We really just wanted to bring in that beautiful Venetian feel, which is
what it's inspired by -- the Venetian posts, the "palo," that's what that means -- bringing
the bright Venetian colors, the masks, the glass -- we're giving the guests a new look
for the restaurant but same great atmosphere. What we are trying to do is really bring up
the level of the design of all the restaurants. We're trying to make all the improvements
to enhance the guest's experience and also enhance the interaction with our cast members
so I think it's a win-win situation.
