Hi everyone, welcome again to 2011studies.
I really rejoiced when we passed October 21.
I knew that if we were to pass that...
That is why I posted those two studies a week before.
God's salvation is the most important thing.
He is waiting for the precious fruit of the earth
as James declares and also in 2 Peter 3
that the longsuffering of God is salvation,
something Paul understood.
I am happy that we have more time.
I am happy also that other people have more time.
Not only do we wait, God waits.
It is for the reason that His salvation plan will be accomplished and finished.
There were a lot of babies born during that five month period of time.
God is the one who saves.
You can rest assured that God salvation plan
is going forth, and it still will.
When I was reading part of my book,
I was reviewing some things about October 21.
The biggest thing for me
is I wish I would have had more time during these past five months
to continue to study the things about the end
to see if there are any other possibilities.
I was not really until like a month
before October 21 that I sort of backed off the studies a little bit
because I did not see the judgment accomplished upon the fallen houses of worship.
I also released like a week before
why we wait upon the Lord (two videos):
"Waiting upon the Lord" and "God Hid His Face,"
and how the hiding of God's face: God equates it to the "waters of Noah."
That is an extremely important verse.
The more I study it...Noah was on the ark for 377 days,
and we are past the 150th day mark now
when God remembered Noah and all living things.
So, that is an important thing
that we have to keep in mind.
I have done some more study on this.
I will be slowly waiting.
I am waiting. I am waiting upon God being patient
as God releases information through His Word.
Now, I want to say something about that.
There are various times in God's Word where He came to Jeremiah.
He came to Ezekiel.
I am not comparing myself to these people
because they were great men, and God used them speaking directly to them.
They were not just studying God's Word and looking for answers.
They were studying God's Word. His Word was present.
The Word of God in Jeremiah 1:2 says:
"To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah
the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign."
Jeremiah 1:3: "It came also in the days of Jehoiakim..."
God continually introduces this in His Word
that He is the one who releases the information.
Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Habakkuk, they all received at certain times information from God's Word.
It is no different from us.
We are not directly hearing God's Word, a voice or anything.
But, we are studying His Word,
and there are some verses I want to cover
that relate to that.
Ezekiel 24:1: "Again in the ninth year,
in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month,..."
(very precise timing)
"...the word of the LORD come unto me, saying,"
Haggai 2:20: "And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai
in the four and twentieth [day] of the month, saying,"
(very precise timing)
Verse 21: "Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah,
saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;"
Verse 22: "And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms,
and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen;
and I will overthrow the chariots,
and those that ride in them;
and the horses and their riders shall come down,
every one by the sword of his brother."
Now, there is a verse in...
I am sort of speeding through this because I did not want to make this a long study.
I wanted this study to be a reintroduction
into our continued study of the countdown to the last day.
We are going to do this patiently,
and we are going to do it prayerfully
as we ask God for wisdom and understanding.
Now, there was something I was reading last night that I have to share.
That is why I am sort of bypassing some of this other stuff for now.
Habakkuk knew about the end and declared some incredible truths
by proclaiming of God's Word.
Habakkuk 1:1: "The Burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see."
Verse 2: "O LORD, how long shall I cry..."
(Why is he saying that?)
"...and thou will not Hear!
[even] cry out unto thee [of] violence, and thou wilt not save!"
Verse 3: "Why dost thou show me iniquity,
and cause [me] to behold grievance?
for spoiling and violence [are] before me:
and there are [that] raise up strife and contention."
Very much similar to today.
Verse 4: "Therefore the law is slacked,
and judgment doth never go forth:
for the wicked doth compass about the righteous;
therefore wrong judgment proceedeth."
Now, this is very important here.
I am highlighting this because I read this and I was just like...Wow!
Habakkuk was almost proclaiming the very thing we are living right now.
It makes sense because the vision is about the end of time.
Habakkuk 2:1, Now, this is what we are doing. We are watching.
Habakkuk was watching.
Habakkuk 2:1: "I will stand upon my watch,
and set me upon the tower,
and will watch to see what he will say unto me..."
That was important,
and listen to this verse.
"...and what I shall answer when I am reproved."
(or corrected)
Now, I could relate to that.
We are being reproved by God's Word.
Verse 2: "And the LORD answered me,
and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables,
that he may run that readeth it." (that reads it)
The thing about that is those who run
I think are the ones who bring this message.
As we understand more and more of God's Word, we run; we bring the message
so other people can hear it, basically.
Verse 3: "For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time,
but at the end it shall speak,
and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it;
because it will surely come, it will not..." (linger.)
There are two words used for "tarry" here, and I believe the second one is "linger."
Verse 4: "Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith."
The just in Christ, by Christ's righteousness,
and His faith that He imparts to us.
Here is waiting upon the Lord.
Isaiah 8:16: "Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples."
Verse 17: "And I will wait upon the LORD,
that hideth his face from the house of Jacob,
and I will look for him."
I will tell you what:
I have been reading more about waiting, about being patient,
how the husbandman is being patient for the precious fruit of the earth,
how 2 Peter 3 declares
that the long suffering of God is for the reason of salvation,
which is something Paul understood.
I wish, seriously, I wish I had not had to dedicate so much time
in the past five months to defend
what I felt like I was having to defend
that salvation is still going forth and God is still saving.
I am glad we are past that time.
I am really happy about that because we can know that God is still saving now.
People who cried out during the 153 days,
still can cry out to God now.
There is more time. God has a Covenant with day and night.
We tried to establish that in these studies.
So, as long as there is day and night,
God's Spirit can save somebody if they cry out to Him.
I wanted to
sort of go over how God waits.
This is kind of amazing too.
Isaiah 30:15: "For thus saith the LORD GOD,
the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved;
in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:
and ye would not."
Verse 16: "But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses;
therefore shall ye flee:
and, We will ride upon the swift;
therefore shall they that pursue you be swift."
Verse 17: "One thousand [shall flee] at the rebuke of one;
at the rebuke of five shall ye flee:
till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain,
and as an ensign on an hill."
Now, here is God's mercy.
Verse 18: "And therefore will the LORD wait,
that he may be gracious unto you,
and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you:
for the LORD [is] a God of judgment:
blessed [are] all they that wait for him."
Verse 19: "For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem:
thou shalt weep no more:
he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry;
when he shall hear it, he will answer thee."
Verse 20: "And [though] the LORD give you the bread of adversity,
and the water of affliction,
yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more,
but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:"
Verse 21: "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee,
saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it,
when ye turn to the right hand,
and when ye turn to the left."
I believe God is telling us right now
this is the way; this is the way walk ye in it.
That way is to wait patiently upon Him
for the reason of salvation.
That is what we have to keep in mind.
As God waits for the precious fruit of the earth, so do we.
We have to wait for those who inherit eternal life,
and forgiveness of sins. It is worth the wait.
We do not have to be lifting ourselves up
saying things that we should not be saying right now.
We should just be focusing on God's salvation plan.
That is what I wanted to...
First, I want to read this:
Psalm 37:7: "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass."
Verse 8: "Cease from anger, and forsake wrath:
fret not thyself in any wise to do evil."
"...fret not thyself in any wise to do evil."
Verse 9: "For evildoers shall be cut off:
but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth."
(new heavens, new earth)
Verse 10: "For yet a little while,
and the wicked [shall] not [be]:
yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it [shall] not [be]."
Verse 11: "But the meek shall inherit the earth;
and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
Verse 12: "The wicked plotteth against the just,
and gnasheth upon him with his teeth."
Verse 13: "The LORD shall laugh at him:
for he seeth that his day is coming."
There is a lot of that going on.
I mean, seriously, it is kind of crazy, but it is just the way it is right now.
I have always thought that when you bring the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
It is going to have one effect or the other on somebody.
It is going to be either widely accepted and thankful...
Thank God that I can be forgiven.
Thank God that He has granted eternal life through His salvation plan.
We do not have to die.
Then there is the kerosene on fire.
When people...
You bring the Gospel and they reject it. They want nothing to do with it.
Sometimes they get angry,
and it is like kerosene on fire.
It is just...
It just seems like it is just too much.
It inflames them and it is just not a good thing.
You do not pursue that; you just leave it as it is.
I wanted to just post this quick study,
because we did pass October 21.
There are some certain things that I am seeing now
that I really wish I had studied earlier. I do; I do; I do.
But, I did not.
God has this way too.
You can read a verse like years ago.
Then, all of a sudden, He will bring this verse back to your memory.
That verse that I believe is important right now
is that God hid His face, and He equates it to the "waters of Noah."
Now, Noah was on the ark for 377 days.
There is more to that.
There is much more to that.
I want to present this in some upcoming studies.
Please stay tuned to this
because not only do we rejoice that salvation is still available
amidst all the crazy talk of people being angry...
You declared October 21 and it did not come to pass.
We have to understand something.
I am sure that people who do not study the Bible do not realize this.
But, God releases things in His own time.
Like Habakkuk said, "...and what I shall answer when I am reproved."
What shall I do when I am corrected?
We run; we bring the message.
We continue to study and we continue to watch by Christ's command.
Though it tarry, though it lingers, wait for it.
So, I am going to rap this up, do this really quickly, this study.
Then, the next study I will pick up more verses.
I am not going to be posting verses online with this.
I am just going to get it up really quick.
So, we are back in the saddle again.
We are continuing to study. I waited patiently for God on this.
Let us prayerfully go to God and ask for wisdom
and continue to study these things.
The good news is that salvation is still available.
That is what I have been trying to proclaim, desperately hard, in the last five months
of video studies.
So, now we can focus more
on these other issues about the timing of the ark,
the "waters of Noah,"
and why God hid His face for a certain precise time.
For a little time, it says a little time, not long at all.
Anyway, God bless everybody. My name is Marty Cattuzzo.
I will be posting some music videos,
but also these studies next weekend.
Well, at least one next weekend.
Editing takes so long to do that I should probably just say one at a time.
That will be a number intensive study,
a study of numbers which I am amazed.
I am just spellbound in a way
that God has included the number 17
so many times in His word.
And how we interpret that number
is so important.
It does not mean gone to heaven.
What it means is it was the redemptive price of the land, redemption.
When you see that number in time lengths
of years, or months, or 153 days,
it means that God is still saving during that time.
It is the redemption that is in view,
and the redeeming of the land that Jeremiah paid 17 shekels for.
So, that is the next study.
It will be sort of number intensive,
but I am going to try to condense it down.
I will keep these to about a half hour, I hope,
maybe half hour studies at a time.
Anyway, thank you.
I appreciate everybody's prayers during these last couple weeks.
God bless you.
