you know considering the fact that it's the republican party that considers
themself the business people
the ones that are good for the economy which we already know is a complete
farce and just not true at all and the ones that really know how to stimulate
the growth of of
businesses in the economy
it's amazing how many really
flat-out dumb
business decisions worth hearing
from republicans on the t_v_ some examples
the all uh... idris familiar with all the garden the horrible italian style
uh... of restaurant
that exist in the u_s_ so bad
it's owned by darden foods now there was a segment yesterday i'm bill o'reilly is
program on fox news
we're john stossel was incredibly annoying and always comes on to do these
epic a libertarian geeky kinda plays this
extreme libertarian character who knows if it's really hammered out
he goes on and he says listen
because it'll bombing care
dorgan foods which owns all of garden as well as some other big chain restaurants
which i'm just for getting it doesn't even matter which they aren't a huge
company they have a ton of employees
darted is going to reduce the hours of as many workers as they can to less than
thirty hours per week to make them part time
they're going to maintain under fifty employees at each location
in order to avoid having to provide health insurance blah blah blah
you know the story
what's funny blood notable before we get into what's funny here's another example
of the same thing going on
david segal is the super rich guy who claims to be responsible for george w_
bush having been elected
he's the founder and c_e_o_ of this huge timeshare company westgate resorts we
won't do it timeshare rent now that's kind of a whole other
that that the whole of the week of shows but
just to go to be known
he's the ceo this timeshare company he sent out this opus like email to his
workers saying
you know all this one percent bashing is terrible
president obama being reelected
threaten your job right basically implying
obama's re-elected
i might have to start firing people now and gawkers saga peace they went and
spoke to this guy siegel who confirmed yeah i did send the email
and it's based on an email chain that one around before the two thousand eight
election it speaks the truth and it gives employees something to think about
when they go
to the polls
let's forget about
the idea that employers are telling their employees how they should broder
making threats of the book and we put that aside for a second lowest okay
let's talk about
the business decision that's being made here
and again we're getting back to this tired old idea
that people make that businesses make hiring decisions
based on
tax rate
verses
based on
and the idea that people make investment decisions
based on
the capital gains rate
verses based on what is the total return
if there is
it positive
marginal return
than the rate
business decision or investment decision if your investor
is to make the investment if the highly additional point therefore
at a certain point and this is what's really funny when you're not hearing
from john stossel when he says well listen obama cares forcing darted not to
hire more than forty nine people
per location
for example
the reality is that a certain point if there is a demand for the product
that is being offered at darden restaurants like all good
there is going to be ape marginal benefit to going over the fifty
employees
now if you believe well bala care is going to put it this channel cost
on the employer
on all of their employees once they go over number forty nine
fine but eventually the in the free market can take care of it is at the
free market people to be staying with it
if that cost
doesn't outweigh the potential profit from hiring the fiftieth employee being
able to service more customers and so on and so forth
the employer is not going to make that uh... make that hiring decision at a
certain point you restaurants get a diesel pack
because people have money presumably could uh... to ago invited by your your
food hence the term food loosely
you get a said you know what
it worked at the higher the employees and to start paying health insurance
been going to be able to have so many more customers as basic business yeah
venue you're getting into you
who employees' happiness
and things of that nature uh... you we could do a whole show and that and how
it affects uh... your bottom line no question about it but i mean you don't
maybe some of these cases are just uh...
employers like this david c or guide using their influence
simply to try and get them and he was elected so he can save tons of money
personally so you're saying it these into some of these may be real but
stupid decisions but some of this latest the empty threats yeah
parrot there have been at the same applies to investments
when your capital gains tax rate
goes up
remember capital gains applies to as the name says your gains therefore invest a
million dollars
and you make your seven percent
and that gives you seventy thousand dollars
and your tax rate is fifteen percent for thirty five percent
in either case you're coming out ahead
there is a marginal positive benefit
to making that investment nobody's going to avoid that simply because the capital
gains rate changes
we'll talk about another issue that's incredibly annoying and and disturbing
we know
that many churches willis
toeing the line very very
uh... let's say they've blurred the line between making political endorsements
and not which is a prerequisite for maintaining tax-exempt status well
here's what happened
mega church pastor
skyline church pastor i should say specifically jim ghar load told his
congregation
that he is going to endorse jesus
he's encouraging you
to vote
romney
here's what he had to say take a listen to endorse jesus
uses player
usually
it affect your work but make a little bit of an adjustment here
just so we can make sure we get everything a hundred percent rate for
people so they can hear what's going on
please let's get that video started up here we go
free
it
stop
crusade
the thought
all right so that that pull the corporate served at the looting to a lot
of political policy
but it's not really talking about candidates
but they need us and here's where he goes on to talk about me around
the does
it it
on arnelle are over
italy
there
standard hollow
relieving
as it
uh... though
here's the
below
but
outfit
this is what
and
yet yet we know about that so this was part of a uh... a date called pulpit
freedom sunday
which is organized by the conservative christian groups alliance defending
freedom and basically what they want lewis is very simple they want to be
able to endorse candidates from the pulpit
this should quoted is this absolutely should result
in the loss of tax-exempt status back when we were talking about proposition
eight
we heard allot eclipse from from churches advocating voting one way or
another in people said listen by the letter of the law
they're really talking about and issued or not endorsing a particular political
candidate
this case is very clear and if you go back and read a transcript of what this
guy says some people might make the argument
he's actually saying
i'm telling you i'm voting for romney but i i can't tell you to vote for i
mean you have to decide
the thing is
this is not
legal language the question is can the case reasonably be made that an
endorsement of a political candidate was made there
and what's the answer
can you go church burned church
uh... in terms of tax-exempt status i mean obviously there is never going to
be uh... full
uh... taxation of of that
christian church catholic church and let the thing of the catholic church i think
is different from a lot of these individual protestant church rose and
and there may be a different answer i don't know if legally each individual
catholic church ureach dioceses considered its own non-profit an idiot
has its own non-profit status
i would tend to tend to think yes let's forget about the catholic church for a
second these protestant churches are often unaffiliated beyond their their
immediate area
and individually can have their tax-exempt status removed no question
about it yet can you imagine uh... how much should government income that would
be all these
so uh... mega churches the the real estate taxes would be incredible you
know what i would love to see an analysis of what would be the effect on
the economy and on the debt
if churches
we no longer had tax-exempt status even dot not all churches
just all these ones that are advocating for point to someone's word that the
pastors are driving down please
the other question by the way is it's amazing
all these evangelicals are now supporting the mormon instead of the
christian
after years of talking about mormon is unethical it's amazing
it really is incredible
it's uh...
it's always incredible on the david aperture a new study confirms that obama
cares birth control mandate
is gonna reduce the abortion rights
no surprise ladies and gentlemen we know that conservatives want to have it both
ways they don't want abortions
they also don't want birth control
and they want abstinence only sex education which just
work there's a new study that focuses on low-income women in saint louis missouri
and it concludes
obviously but if you expand access to free contraception as the law does under
president obama's affordable care act
birth control with no co-pay
this gets to bury
significantly
reduced
of unintended pregnancy
what is that lead to sheerly by looking at the numbers
less abortions
revisit the so obvious anton and isn't the contra the that the contradiction
between not wanting birth control
and not wanting abortion
so absurd on the right wing
you have the right
you know clearly doesn't want there to be less abortions they want there to be
bill abortions and the only way to have bill abortions is to ban it
warrior i mean there are a lot of uh... allowed our reach here is that
people don't want to be paying quote paying for birth control for people
verse lots right of course
i remember we go
phone call that that it was kind of nasty and i said well you know why
should i have to pay for someone else's birth control and you know as a hey if
you want to pay for the hospital ride the delivery nato caring in eighteen
years of welfare uh... be my guest yet that's quite a bit more expensive yeah
i'm also really shocked at this time it it is shocking that this study says
actually giving people access to contraception away they can afford is
more effective than pretending people just won't have sex if you shame them
enough about it who knew that this would work better
magid
so will see at how this continues the ladies and gentlemen we have to think of
this is one of those one of those gains
if you think about the first
four years of obama
um...
for all the bad things that he's done which we will get
back to talking to
day one after this election you know that lewis
brought about things obama's done
there've been unrealized gains if you think about investing in a stock that
goes up
but you don't lock those gains and until you sell those shares what we have right
now in obama karen in a number of other areas
are unrealized gains
the stock's gone up in value we've got these new provisions
but they could be undone
it's never on the replaces brocco baba
a reelection of obama essentially allows us to lock in those gains in by securing
that obama carries not repeal then all of these other things mentally this is a
model that i think is useful to think about where we're at a rate that is
uh... that is going to procure speaking of that i want to touch on this perfect
t_v_ director net on came in yesterday
and told us over the weekend he near thirty five dollar contributions
president obama's campaign up personally i don't make any
political campaign contributions i don't trust him
ida lewis claims to have made a ten dollar donation to president obama in
two thousand eight
with nap at a record of that but i think the nation's under twenty five or fifty
dollars don't show up anywhere
the details are hazy on that baton explain why you said you know what
i'm at a point now but i'm gonna make a thirty five dollar contribution to
president obama
look uh... romney got a huge debate bounce there's no question
but you know that what seems to be going on is that there's an enthusiasm gap
more republicans or
uh... saying that they're gonna vote less democrats and we got to get the
photo and do you know you got a and for me
you know thirty five dollars out of you know ninety eight percent of
contributions or under two hundred and fifty
to obama
so i'm going to be one of those and understand try to uh... to as much of
the camp it's just interesting because when i hear him say that i can't tell if
he's kidding i'd just can't tell if he's joking around about
you've got to get the vote up i mean i know we talk about it on the show with
the certain toan and delivery
when i can say that it sounds a little bit like he's joking
i'm pretty sure is telling the truth you really think so
i mean bissell this election when you think about it
if you reduce all of the other issues and throw them away which you obviously
shouldn't do
i mean if
romney is elected and the republicans have controlled both houses third in a
repeal obama care
and we're gonna see thirty million people in five years
third another thirty million less people
in five years having health insurance this is a huge deal people are gonna die
because of this very reason they're gonna go to the emergency room
for things that could have been prevented
and for me thirty five dollars you know out of mill one point seven million
uh... giving this amount or a little bit more money
is something to be done to prevent this from happening i had to stand ready
saying i'd just think that when you think about thirty five dollars for a
lot of people but it's a shareholder second time
for a lot of people donation
or phone banking is the only access they have to a political system but you would
think the time being t_v_ director of the data package show
would be able to say you know what i can do weighing more than thirty five
dollars
by sitting down
and doing some great research about very specific talking points that i want to
get out there on the show for the next week
and you would think that the tangible benefit that very we usually could
exceed the thirty five bucks out of i disagree with you wanted to do both
i think i should be willing to loan i mean uh...
it seems to me like there are two things here one
is uh... for thirty five dollars with
what is that going to do well that's going to do all little bit
it's not going to do that much also on here on the show and you know we talk
about issues certainly the show has some influence
but it's also an ethical question about whether you're going to be a part of it
whether you're putting yourself into it
and for me thirty five dollars is not very much money to put myself infuse
something that's very important that's fine and i respect that but louis for me
i'd feel like i'm wade more into it and had a mistake by doing this show goodbye
contributing some money
hi i feel the same way as you
but i'm also i also differ from both of you are on many topics as it
record regards to the election so alright
well needed
bago he doesn't do anything campaigns cuz that would be some kind of a problem
i don't i just ordered to campaign i'd i support campaigns in other ways

former assistant penn state football coach jerry sandusky has been sentenced
that
thirty to sixty years in prison
for sexually abusing ten young boys over fifteen years sixty eight years old
once a celebrated figure in college sports lewis
stood there in a red jumpsuit
judge john cleo and impose the sentence he faced a maximum of
four hundred years
behind bars without parole got thirty to sixty years what do you think of the
sentence
uh... as long as it's uh...
uh... as long as his life ins in prison at fine with me he said of those jurors
and ask you rather did it made a statement
where he said i i didn't do these alleged disgusting acts
i speak today with hope in my heart for a brighter day this is the worst loss of
my life and he went on in the statement he said
this makes you realize how temporary life is today is a difficult day on
being labeled and sentenced we're going to laugh and we're going to cry because
that's who we are
most difficult part of all of this as the separate the pain of separation from
loved ones
now the judge said he'd received fair trial
judge acknowledged sandusky did do some good things whose charitable work
but that all of that
was very significantly outweigh by his evil criminal act saying you abuse the
trust of those who trusted you
so what did you think about this plutonium number one
imagine being the white
sandusky is white dodi
attended the event
the uh... the the sentencing event
and left quickly
and then send us ke was it was escorted away
if you're the thus valves
would you even go to the trial a negative depends on whether you believe
in your spouse's innocents some extent
yeah uh...
when you have been married to someone for so long
and as someone who
did the things he did i find it hard to believe that uh... she had no clue about
it interesting uh... is it possible to she's your sister lucien was him yes
uh... i think it's more likely that she uh...
that she had some idea was going on in didn't didn't say anything this
statement from sandusky is defense attorney joanne and ola
said listen
jerry sandusky was the victim of a grand conspiracy
and prosecutors didn't even have physical proof he molested anyone but
because of the allegations everything he ever love
ever built
ever stood for is gone now if you look at those the diminution of the legal
language here his lawyers never denying that jerry sandusky did any of these
things
he's just arguing the evidence that was presented
uh... was not what i would consider proof and you know that's uh... that's
that we have to simpson does he's going to be in solitary confinement his entire
time in prison
uh... i hope not
well the actually i disagree with the devil is implying if you hope he's not
because child molesters are treated badly and being out in prison but
that that can be part of the punishment the punishment has to be
what is it a signed by the judge i don't agree with this idea that the child
molesters there's an implicit extra punishment which is if they are the
general population they get beaten up or possibly killed i just don't agree with
that
uh...
well i mean it's it's not part of the punishment it's not
i don't know what to say about it i mean it's just it's it's what happens
uh... it's not like he doesn't deserve i don't really care
now i think he does deserve that type of treatment i mean i am against death
penalty do i think you'll be killed in prison probably not a lawyer would you
do you think this guy do you think it's correct for this guy to be *** in jail
because of the crimes you commit
uh... completely extra judicial that have rights right
extra digit judicial yes
so it is no bid the law does not describe
so is that it but do you think that that's fine is that ok with you if that
happens i'm fine with me you're finally got or you just wouldn't go out of your
way to see it doesn't happen again i just don't i don't i i don't agree with
a list saying
i don't think we should depend on the shadow justice system taking on
imprisoned
exactly fit if it happens it's going on but we shouldn't be happy about it i
think overall there's no way to know that i mean this is going to happen to
people who according to lewis don't deserve it
so the reality is we should try to clean up our jails uh... and and imprisoned
less people
that's that's a good call what i'm saying is we shouldn't
we shouldn't invest extra time effort and money
to cater to a person like this he if they feel he's going to be targeted by
other inmates it's not worth the effort he sentenced to prison he gets the same
shame is everyone else send your thoughts on this the candidate for the
arkansas legislature named charlie you qua says children who don't demonstrate
respect for their parents
tribute at the back
according to the arkansas times it was a former member of the arkansas
legislature he's received support from the arkansas republican party sitting
members of congress he has this book into that came out this year called
god's law the only political solution
he safety ronnie twenty-one eighteen to twenty one recess
the maintenance of civil order in society rests on the foundation of
family discipline
but rather disrespect his parents must be permanently removed from society in a
way that gives an example
to all other children of the importance of respect for parents the death penalty
for rebellious children
is not something to be taken lightly
the guidelines for administering the death penalty children are given a
detour on the twenty one eighteen the twenty-one
uh... he says it doesn't get paris blanket authority to kill their kids
however
that it does allow for the seeking of the proper procedure for this to be done
my question is what is the proper procedure
do you call pat robertson does he tell you how to do it by don't really
understand
yeah i think there's a lot of gray area with this and
i think this is probably aviary poor interpretation
the the verses were talking do you think
probably don't worry if you work with your concern
he is pro-life
whatever that means rest assured this is a pro-life candidate yeah
it means so make sure that your boring
uh...
uh... once you are disrespect their parents you'll probably be
apart but it will be the proper way he will check with whoever it is needed to
check with your work

david hackman shelves and david beckham and dot com
welcome back to the david adventure
joining is jonathan fell from the westborough baptist church is the
brother of surely phelps roper also the son of pastor
bell sightseeing family resemblance that jonathan
i think a good place to start would be twenty twelve election we have come down
to two candidates at this point for the presidential election uh... the the
realistic options are reelecting president obama or electing mit romney
i'm curious what's what's the you who r u supporting
when i was six oh one am half-a-dozen another i don't support either
uh... i figured of bombs go win but
and being a lifelong democrat you'd think i'd vote for him but
uh... amam
my convo for either of those fellas
on that topic i mean as it stands today you know what we have president old
bomber who has
repeal don't ask don't tell as well as basically said
he favors
blanket gave gay marriage strolled the quality for gay and lesbian couples
whereas mitt romney has said marriage should only be between a man in a woman
he wants a constitutional amendment that would define a marriage as such
it would seem to me that that would be way more in line with your views
well of course mitt romney's a liar
that's up i don't believe anything he says and uh...
i don't think there's a way the difference between the two candidates
really uh...
yeah i i really believe that uh...
same sex marriages of faith
come play in this country
and uh... and have been saying that for decades a couple of decades we've been
saying that
once that is even up for debate the debate is
uh... the contest is over interested although i i don't actually really
interesting because so
in the past when i've talked to for example surely phelps roper your sister
and and a lot of other anti-gay knots i say you know you guys are gonna lose on
this one eventually we're going to have widespread marriage equality and people
like surely say it is not a given but you're saying for decades you've
considered eventually
there will be marriage equality for all
uh...
*** last time i checked charles on the net
uh... in the last time i checked also
uh... shirl uh...
solidly stated
that it's a fata come play occurred is not in the i'm cannot arguing with you i
mean i think i find it interesting
okay so howell for how long will it take until we get full marriage equality in
your mind and then we have a handful of states now but what time i know we
looking at
okay
soon amiable ical terms soon in fact it if it turns out he would say that what
are we talking about
talking
uh... the supreme court united states will
and follow up to their earlier decisions inconsistent with them
well mandate it
interesting ok will both that that i think it'd be very very interesting
one looks guy wanting to talk to you use it years ago and you said that while you
don't think that there is any will on the behalf of the government to put
homosexuals to death
that you personally supported that is that still your view dr
illicit
it's the the view of the bible sick we're teaching of the bible that is
what is it
righteously
established human government should be following the rules of the bible
uh... that
mosaic code is very clear on that matter
this bunch of slugs in fees the base
uh... the bottom tier of of him in
content
they constitute our government leaders
to talk in terms of them doing anything righteous
or
trainees legitimate purpose
his joke no i understand that it so i i mean i i'm i'm hearing a lot of the same
thing you said years ago but can you believe that based on what the bible
says we should have
death penalty for homosexuality
absolutely
what would be as a method of death would it be lethal injection i do know that
the bible says you know the bible things partial stoning in many cases
what would be the method in which you would say
homosexuals should be put to death
well of course
duly constituted
human government
righteously established
where it would not be uh...
uh... violation
of
those constitutional trip
premises yeah
that is that it there would not be
and force mint of its that would be
discriminatory
and which is
our current criminal justice system is true
debilitated
and other problems but so what would be the form of putting them to death
of course
uh... human government would have to stab us that in since i'm not a
convulsion that aspect of it
and management
are trampling lido oracle
personally or argue partial to stone inks
kam completely rhetorical question known when i'm partial to personally is people
repenting
that's what i'm partial to
all right lol so i guess we're not gonna get quite the answer was hoping for
their
question on this though
do you also believe
women who were not virgins on their wedding date should also be put to death
as indicated by deuteronomy twenty two other thirteen to twenty one
felicity it's twenty two
thirteen to twenty one out antibiotic years i mean i i know you know what's in
it and do you also support that i mean she would be putting to death all all
women who are not virgins verifiable versions
legitimate virgins because tadi kan on their wedding day
well of course
that
verse you're referring to his is a matter between
the spouse
sin that is married
and if they're claiming that a fraud was perpetrated on the marriage and that is
that the marriage was entered into upon the explicit representation
that she was ***
uh... and frankly it would cut both ways
what but what would your honor me says is that we're talking we're talking
about a story the men of her city phils stone herwitz tones that she died that
is the word of god
both perpetrated a fraud on the marriage
and her husband
which would have been the cruelest thing in the world for him to do frankly
claims that he was just rotted in some way right so there's a cat nap
then that was
that was the punishment that was prescribed
but isn't it interesting jonathan in this applies also i mean you know it
would be a daycare center on a rare both pretty clear about the abomination of
consuming shellfish
isn't it interesting how
on the putting homosexuals to death
you're very very hard line but when it comes to stoning than on virgins and you
know you know that in your own family
your sister has this child out of wedlock fam phelps roper
there's a lot of places where where the people on your side say
well you know it's it's if this and if that and so on and so forth there's a
lot of equivocation
but not on homosexuality why is that is it a lot of there's no there's no
equivocation
if there's not repentance of any of the sense now
their serious consequences that can't be a member of the church they have no
reason why expectation of heaven
what you did was course she took a sickly argument about a ceremony at the
law concerning consumption of of the ceremonial diet
and meeting you simply by uh...
the wave of the hand-picked
put it on the same base
needed equal with
the moral law
yen asap any is and that's not legitimate
there's nothing to do with at your side jonathan who is he who was arbitrarily
taking but what pig taking that and taking it down from the same level as
homosexual it's all very arbitrary is in and out of it has any bearing on the
login separation of church and state
well to several questions etc yeah uh...
paul made it very clear and peter made a very clear writing the book of acts
that the dietary repair law is no longer applicable
to those who believe
but the election focus on the story of the *** let's focus on the spelling
of and of the nitrogen if they're
if there was going to be
uh... duly constituted
rule of law
establish based upon the mosaic code right bats
that moral law
it
is enforceable also
oppressed alright so we're making that distinction
last thing i want to cut their dash distinction
because its ten-day because in the moral law predates
the dietary love the mosaic code
payton realtor jonathan and i don't want to be spent pits
you test minist full of the moral law it is chock full and i agree that
why there's so many kids leave westborough of course we know of nate
belts and we've talked to him but there's also
libby alvarez formerly will be felt we've got mark felt catherine phelps
door of the bird formerly door of the felt
is it because
of the physical violence why why is it so many of these dot people are leaving
the church
pretense
and the pretense
all that alleged
uh... physical violence the noble flooded by both a nathan felt and surely
pops roper have admitted to the beatings they just didn't both call them abuse
first of all
children are to be raised in the nurture an admonition of the lord over in your
district and when you're just funny your child
pursuant to them biblical standards is not abuse folk and the law does analog
recognizes that as did not being abuse and i can cite ***
case that we argued to the kansas supreme court
where they try to make a crime
now check dis out
the real question that ought to be posed is
how is it that there would be nine children
uh... still here that's the miraculous thing
spiritually thing available why did you make incredible that you off they'd
given that the treatment but why did the others leave is my question
the the treatments
uh... was the best treatment that any human chop up
uh... ought to
and appreciate uh... would receive unit
while reprobate ps goin
off and wander into filth and debauchery me out
is a question that i lied to your ex
expertise plus on a personal and professional level i'm sure well on i
was gonna hoping to get some sense from you a bit about that okay
uh... last look absolutely lastly i'm jewish but i'm relatively nonreligious
am i still going to hell and how can i avoid that
well you have to repent just like every other she amanda's aka
destaque at just because you pick that
pretense of the god
uh... sunny different from the next fighting that has another without a born
into a jewish family
if you were born
tend to uh... a system of false religious
teaching style correct
not nine nine point nine nine percent of population has so many women met many of
the members of the west probe at church for many of the people that were born
into this family work exposed to many false religious systems some
of which were adopted
and some of which were uh... had to be that they had to be taught while acts of
false religious system
you're not unique
you just a rebel like the rest of them you distributor virtue of being born
jewish and the rebel
will course ok ok not skip and i i don't see but should no longer earl little
child you know i have to answer
stand on your own two feet in get your big boy pants on india but with the
reality the situation yeah you have it

okay figure
david machinations
candied happened dot com
staff
this david beckham instance ideally paknet dot com there's a
film that is a making a type basically agree uh... dramatization of the death
of a celebrate life
which is going to be released on november four just two days before the
presidential election at the movies gold seal team six
the raid on osama bin laden is produced by the weinstein company of course
weinstein co-chairman harvey weinstein
prominent bo bomb a fundraiser
conservatives are saying listen to what is going on here
the national geographic channel is conspiring with the wine stains to try
to release this at the exact time to push president brocco bomber to
reelection now what everybody is not mentioning when they talk about this is
that national geographic
is owned primarily
by fox cable networks
a division of news corporation so certainly the idea
that there's some top-down conspiracy
from the network to release this at a time that would be politically
advantageous to the president certainly does not line up
with the broader
uh... political alignment of news corporation does it
no it does not uh...
is it possible that this film in no way
glorifies it for makes any sort of political statement that's another
possibility any national geographic channel was asked about this and they
said that the debut date is based on when our fall season starts
and president howard he always said harvey weinstein does not
schedule our network
the channel is not political where opportunistic
from the programming perspective
interesting
now has a funny thing even if this was collusion with the national geographic
channel even if the national geographic channel is not part of news corporation
is this the different
that voter suppression
from republicans in it's biased foundation
it actually is
in that releasing a movie you paid to produce on the date that you want
is perfectly legal
low voter suppression tactics are illegal and unethical force a evidence
is even a question
three even have to address the speed is a question too many people unfortunately
that's too bad
there's an expedient commercial that's creating some controversies last week
expedient posted a commercial doubt
a father attending his lesbian daughter's wedding accepting their
sexuality now the description from the youtube video says every trip is unique
on this trip arty goldstein travel across the country to it and his
daughter same sex wedding the journey that will test and challenge in and
ultimately change in in unexpected ways of the video at this point is over two
million views
let me play just a little bit of a to give me a sense of what it is again this
is an advertisement for travel booking website
expedient
you have to make a decision
the even have been going on
that you clinton maintain
it from him
patients in the rest of your mind
war people into use that time
dismissed situation had to cut misting
wants to get out of town
excellent academe
format for the check to sit down
going with uh... alright now of course conservatives are completely fired up
saying they're going to boycott xp yan instead use travelocity in orbits
they're completely flipping out how funny that
a lot of them don't realize that orbiting travelocity are also pro algae
beauty rights but putting up putting that ridiculousness aside
this is not a big deal ladies and gentlemen you've gotta get over this
nonsense in your minds that there's anything unusual here why is this even
controversial it's an ad for travel company
which wants to make money by having people booked flights and hotels and and
and uh... a sightseeing
and rental cars
on the website know i actually don't use expedient only because usually there's
better deal to be had by using other
uh... ways of searching but this actually would make me more likely to
support exp here even though hopefully in the future
this is just a non-issue doesn't make people more or less likely to support
expedient
it's just the law
there's a quality that's it
uh...
and this really is it's more of a many documents he then it's been a commercial
it's really an internet commercial i mean it's not something that's fit for a
run t_v_ ads or three minutes longer
arm
but of course people are gonna flip out over this and ah...
this commercial have pretty much has no effect on me but uh...
as it is you're not a big expedient correct
well i mean
i mean the site i use searches through what's different websites and sometimes
it ends up the tix p_d_a_s the when i go with big opposite
relays me to it but uh...
congratulations god bless
it's it's a very well done commercial
it is very good production value barry who knows if it's even real this is a
commercial if they could be all actors very well uh... which i believe they
most likely are is the guy's name really arty colts tina turner
i mean this is not howard documentaries typically films
uh...
just day looks like it's a commercial like these are actors in that it's all
states but that's just me
all right let's go to some air force well the voice mail and open twenty four
hours a day two one nine to david p hears a voice mail about
debates nicholas
watches
and he can not comments about the next upcoming debate because tactics organ
uh... michael bubble up yet uh... uh... okenka right thanks
is that the strategy action does not talk about the upcoming debates at all
you know if i don't think we teach that i think obama strategy was the
do-nothing strategy
observe
play defense i think it's going to be very different debate the second time
around wild lewis a prediction
dedi jinx it we don't know we will see
but it's also impossible to prove whether or not i jinx that
of course will only thing
alec it's difficult to prove the thirty th medium texas
yeah exactly
i think that believes in the us i think one day we may be able to prevent saja
and when they may be able to prove with the districts the debate
a bunch of emails on poll-driven walking out of the interview
but journalist of all people has presented a legitimate question in
regards to the rationality of ryan's proposal howden gary
that's exactly what i was thinking myself right
and romney would never have done this romney would simply have switched his
position and denied he was giving tax cuts or ordered a cutting social
programs
that's right paul ryan should learn from mit romney
just just flop over and diane gen y and changed positions right away that's all
you have to be a he works they worked really well yet
and on my amtrak story that a friend of mine told us if you had uh... heard that
go back and check it out in the archives
i'm getting cry genic we've frozen
andrea animated in the year thirty twelve
hopefully to a more enlightened humanity well that's uh... that's that definitely
