When Megan was in the sixth grade,
she took it upon herself to share an album that she --
that we have accumulated --
[pause]
talking about, or
showing her hospital experiences and her therapies along the way and how she's progressed.
And it really helped to share that album with the class
and made them understand why she was a little bit different and why she has learning
differences and
balance problems, and I think it really helped
for her to have,
for her to meet friends.
And in those days she got invited to birthday parties and, you know, she had really good interactions with,
with other people. And it's not that easy
when you get to high school,
things are a little different when you get into
the older years.
