I completed my military service in 1976
After 6 months, I stayed abroad for 5 years
When I came back, I got the opportunity to work here
My life in this place besides its importance urged me to exert more effort
I love it
I worked here for 33 years, 3 of them retired from my day-job.
and I can't stand staying away from it
as it became a part of me
This place completes me, and I complete it.
This chair right here is made from the woods of barrels, in which they used to age wine.
The owner of the place was a swiss, after the English occupation,
he used to hunt dears, he preserved them and hanged them here.
These are 2 travelers from Norway, I know them for 33 years as I started working here.
As they wander the globe, they only stay in our hotel whenever they come to Egypt
Strangely, they choose specific room numbers to stay in.
To be a Barman, it's not an easy job.
You need to love it
A barman deals with his guest as a psychologist deals with his patient
If he doesn't like his field, he won't be comfortable doing his job
I love my job because I deal with people that I know they need a psychologist more than anything else
I stay here more than I stay at my home.
It's a part of me, a main part.
Owners of the place, as they see my love for the place and its visitors, they won't let me go despite my old age.
This is why I love the place and feel comfortable doing my job
I love my job because I love the place
