What's going down everybody! Welcome back to FairgroundsTV I'm your host
Peter Moeller. Today we have Leipziger Gose or "gohza" if
you will. This used to be one of my favorite things
to drink. I havent had it in a very, very long time.
It was out of Connecticut here for quite a bit of time and this is going to be a revisit
for me in I don't, I'm thinking probably the better part of 4 or 5 years.
Nice carbonation, finer bubbles, a little bit of a cloudy, golden, light golden color.
Nice finger, half a finger of nice white bright head.
Let's give it a sniff. *sniffs*
Wow. *sniffs*
I'm getting a lot of, lot of coriander and *sniffs*
Lot of coriander and a little bit of spice. Let's give it a sip.
*sips* Hm.
It's not as sour as I remember it to be. This is almost like a citric lemon coming
through. Some nice spices.
This isn't very cold, it's a little bit on the warmer side, but
*sips* Yeah.
I'm getting more of that citric, just kind of like lemon sitting on my tongue.
Maybe if this was colder I'd like it a little bit more, I'm a little disappointed, it fell
short of where I remember it to be. But it's definitely slightly sour and this
is definitely a summer beer. Chill it up, it's a, it's still a good beer.
Don't get me wrong, I used to drink this all the time.
I feel like it was a little bit more sour. But uh, it's not as sour.
And: it's still a great beer. It's just not meeting the expectation of what
I remember it to be. Check it out, definitely a great summer beer.
And we'll see you next time. Skol!
