Backing up your device regularly
helps you have a copy of your information
so you can easily restore it to a new device.
To get started, tap Settings,
tap your name,
then tap iCloud.
If you need help resetting your iCloud password,
look in the description below for a link to support.apple.com.
Next, scroll down, tap iCloud Backup,
and make sure it's turned on.
Here, you'll be able to see the date and time
of your most recent backup.
Once iCloud Backup is turned on,
your device will automatically back up each night
if it's plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi.
If you'd like to make a backup immediately,
just tap Back Up Now, and make sure
you stay connected to Wi-Fi until the process completes.
This may take some time,
depending on your network connection
and the amount of data you're backing up.
And that's it! Nicely done.
