Oh I am so glad you asked this question.
Um, my favorite teacher, I had a lot of really great teachers.
I was with Wichita Public Schools and I was really blessed
with some amazing teachers.
My absolute favorite teacher- the reason that I knew that I
wanted to be a teacher when I was extremely small- was Georgia Flood.
She teaches at Chisholm Trail.
My favorite teacher I believe was a teacher named Mrs. McIntosh.
Maria Martinez Aparicio Ayala des Chaplez.
She was my Spanish teacher back in high school- Newton High School
Mr. Perez was my favorite teacher.
He was my fourth-grade teacher.
I had a lot of favorite teachers.
One of them was a college professor I had.
My cooperating teacher in student teaching was probably
the person I learned the most from.
Mrs. Orr at Coleman.
My favorite teacher is my fifth grade teacher,
Mr. Rocco.
I still keep in contact with him actually.
So my favorite teacher is definitely my college
professor from when I was getting my bachelor's of Fine
Arts when I discovered ceramics.
He was my favorite teacher because he helped me to become a
successful reader He believed in me and he had faith in me.
She was so loving.
She had great structure but she was just so loving and kind,
and her room always felt so great.
Before getting to him I was very timid and didn't want to speak
up in class and I hated the English language
as an English language learner, but he motivated me to do well.
She got me started learning Spanish.
I was a sophomore in high school when I started.
She taught me a lot about how to interact with kids and how to engage them and
how to challenge them.
He was so passionate about his work in his life as a potter
that I was so intrigued and changed my major to pottery.
Although he knew that I was struggling,
he still challenged me to keep pushing and to continue to have
perseverance.
She was fantastic and really made me feel valued and I told her I
wanted to be a teacher and she told me to go for it so… (laughs)
He inspired me to be a teacher and I want to be like him.
I want to be able to, you know, tell the kids,
“You can do whatever you set your mind to.”
You could just tell that she was really passionate about us and about
us learning and being successful.
She's amazing.
