>>Erik: As you`ve climbed higher in your profession, you`ve recently won an Emmy, how has that
opened your capacity to do even more? >>Tricia: I think, winning the Emmy was kind
of trippy. I didn`t expect it. The five nominations were enough. And then winning. I really recommend
it as a life experience. It`s really pretty great. But it was hard to reconcile with it
because it`s this thing and I`ve won it and I`ve always loved my film. And it does sort
of change the way people view you. And that can be good and bad. Like any sword, it has
two sides and you have to learn how to use it. And what I`ve come to learn is that the
way for me best to use it is not to go around talking about it, but to own it inside. To
understand yes I did this work and it was hard work to do and there were people all
around me the whole time and I trusted myself and I was right. And if I can hold that faith
in myself, then the world changes and nobody ever has to know that I won an Emmy.
