Hello this is Mike Russell from MusicRadioCreative.com with an introduction to Adobe Audition CC.
You're currently looking at the previous version of Adobe Audition CS6 on your screen but much
of the layout and user interface is exactly the same. Now you'll see this sound effect
hat I've got loaded. If I go to be spectral frequency display the first thing you'll be
able to do in Adobe Audition CC is block out multiple sounds by using the paint brush and
brushing over. Now before you can only brush one point and if you brush another point it
would deselect that point and just select this point. Well in Adobe Audition CC you'll
be able to select multiple different points throughout your file delete them or invert
the selection and just keep that noise. Thats the brand new sound remover coming to Adobe
Audition CC. Another great feature in Adobe Audition CC is that you'll be able to preview
any effect you want to add for instance if I go into effects, modulation, chorus and
choose one of my favourite presets bass chorus there. I can't see on the screen how it's
going to look without actually applying the effect. Now in Adobe Audition CC you'll immediately
be able to see any changes to your waveform by clicking a preview button up here in the
top right. You can draw on a pitch bend in the brand new Adobe Audition CC, remember
how we used to do it manually in CS6, by selecting the end of the waveform going to the effects
menu selecting time and pitch, stretch and pitch process and selecting the preset cutting
power 100% down to 500% to get something that sounds like a vinyl losing power. Well in
Adobe Audition CC you'll be able to literally draw on the exact cutting down power sound
effect you'd like to achieve. Head over into the multitrack of Adobe Audition, start a
new session there and if I drag some waves into here, first thing you'll notice is the
orange bar, in Adobe Audition CC you'll be able to see the whole wave and find out exactly
what you're dropping into your multitrack. Another benefit is that when I select a wave
at the moment I have to go in to properties and then basic settings down here and select
a clip colour like this for instance. Well in Adobe Audition CC I'll be at change the
colour of clips on a whole track if I wish to. There are other great features in the
multitrack to such as better zooming, better multitrack jumping and also the fact that
you'll be able to merge and silence clips will ease. A big new effect in Adobe Audition
CC is the new loudness radar if you want find out more about this fantastic new effect in
Adobe Audition I'll put some links in the description to this video. Finally if you're
a video pro Adobe Premiere Pro will start accepting VST plug-ins and it'll become much
more like Adobe Audition if you want to edit sound to your video. The future of Adobe Audition
is looking bright and if you'd like to get Adobe Audition CC tutorials just hit subscribe
