Hi ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back.
This is the second day of the IAA here in Frankfurt.
And today we're going to talk a little bit about the Yeti.
The facelift of the Yeti has resulted in not only a visual change,
a change of appearance in accordance with the new ŠKODA design language,
but also in the fundamental split into Yeti, which is here behind me
and the Yeti Outdoor—which I'm standing in front of right now.
This one happens to be the Laurin and Klement edition.
The reason for this is because the Yeti customers are split into two groups:
some people like the elevated seating and great visibility while driving through the city.
And some other people are focusing more on ground clearance, 4 wheel drive,
and a broader approach and departure angle.
Let's take a look at the outdoor version first.
I must say, I really like the outdoor version.
Let's see what this Yeti has to offer!
Sitting in the car, it is a great feeling.
It's bit of an SUV feel, but slightly more luxurious, or more luxurious if you will.
It is a compact car, but still it offers enough space
for passengers, and me, and luggage alike
Lots of extra things that they've added to the car,
of course Simply Clever solutions such as the LED
the removable LED light in the back,
which charges automatically. It's also magnetic.
Reversible floor mat in the back, in the boot, which is great as well.
Keyless entry, start and exit.
They've also added for the first time
in a ŠKODA car, a camera in the back,
that facilitates parking, of course makes it much easier
you can now park between smaller or narrower obstacles like trees or rubbish bins.
And I'm getting a little anxious
I want to take this car for a spin.
I will see you later. Ciao. 00:02:38,000 --> 00:02:39,000 Take care!
