Welcome to Penn Foster tv! Today I am going to talk about cheating, and taking shortcuts
in your studies.
Like any traditional school, here at Penn Foster, we consider cheating to be any work
that you turn in that isn’t your own. So any sites that you go to where you find answers
or if you get answers from your friends or if you just go on Google and copy something
word for word, we would consider that cheating. As far as disciplinary action goes, you could
actually get kicked out of school for that. I just wanted to take a moment to say that
you guys are all in school to better your own lives, to get to the next level, and to
land jobs. So the last thing you would want to do is take a shortcut that could actually
cost you a job. What I mean is this: Let’s say that you’re on a job interview and you
get asked a question but that happens to be (a huge coincidence) something that you completely
skipped over in school. You just found an answer and didn’t care to really learn it.
That could cost you a job. If you talk about the subject in a job interview, like you don’t
know it all, you probably won’t get hired for it. So don’t cheat guys. This is an
at your own pace curriculum. Take the time to really learn the subject, and then move
on to the next lesson. Also, one thing to consider is, all of us here, all of the Penn
Foster staff want to help you, and see that you succeed. If you have any questions at
all, you could reach out to your instructor just by calling the student services number,
or by emailing them through the Penn Foster student portal you just click contact us and
you could either speak to a student service rep or an instructor if you click education.
We all want to see you succeed and definitely don’t cheat guys. The tests are all random.
They’re all different every time. So better your own lives, learn the subjects, really
adapt the material, and you will be able to land jobs with no problem, just learn the
material. If you have any questions, comments, anything you want to see in the video blog
