It's starts off, you start off, you know
you're excited, you're like alright,
I started my college career, I mean I'm
sure it's with every single freshman coming in.
And then you get to about year three to four and
then you realize, you know, what the hell did I do.
You realize you still have another two to three years
more school, you realize all
your friends from home, they're graduating,
they're trying to get jobs, and you're like oh,
I still have two more years.
It's overwhelming at times but I mean,
the same time, like we're almost I think a little bit
different than other majors because we're tight in it.
We have like ninety-two kids in our class and
really you know, from after our second year we're
pretty much in the same classes for the
rest of the four years.
So really we're almost like a highschool class
as opposed to a big university class where
every single day you will see the same people.
You know I looked into UCONN, I looked into
George Washington University, I applied to PC,
I just you know, in high school I was good in Chemistry,
I was good in the sciences,
as a little kid I wanted to do, I was like I wanted
to be a doctor, so I had those two,
the medical background and the science background.
They push you but at the same time they say you need
to do the work yourself as well because in some of
those classes if you didn't take the time to sit down,
read some material, and actually go over it with yourself
until you understand it, then that was it.
They're not going to hold your hand but at the same time
they really know, they trust you to say, you know,
this is not easy, this is what you shoud do,
you need help we're here
but you really got to step it up a notch.
What's nice about it, like what, it's that it's big
but it's also small.
It's big, like it has a big student base but
at the same time it's smaller where you know
anywhere you need to be on campus
it's a fifteen-twenty minute walk.
URI is always changing, whether it's like building
a new building or like renovating a dorm,
like they're always doing something,
like they're always trying to improve
the look of the campus.
URI understands where they need to go, I feel.
And they are doing what they should.
