Sometimes when it’s time for your close-up, you just gotta take it. That’s what one
tiger shark did in the Bahamas. CNN and WPTV report.
“Officer I’d like to report a theft in progress. Expensive camera gear. Wait a minute!
The perpetrator is already getting away! Somebody arrest that shark!”
“Take a look at Emma. She’s a 14-foot long tiger shark. A group was following her
around while filming a documentary when she swiped the camera.”
The documentary is called “Shark Obsession.” Producers say they’ve known Emma for quite
some time and WPLG thinks maybe she was a little tired of all the attention.
“We’re not sure what her motive was for making off with all the equipment … but
maybe she’s just annoyed by all the underwater paparazzi.”
“Oh yeah, too much paparazzi.”
And this isn’t the first time a sea creature has tried to make away with some gear.
Check out this video of a wild octopus stealing this guy’s camera. He eventually got it
back after he chased it down and poked it.
The divemaster was able to recover the $15,000 camera after Emma dropped it about 100 feet
out.
