Today's reflection is taken from the Gospel of St. Matthew. I am meek!
At this time for many people to be meek means to be a useful idiot,
because that's what you mean by gentleness and meekness rather has to do with temperance
and the formation of character, brave we live, we live with everyone fighting
and so instead of being compassionate we are aggressive.
New York is aggressive and I'll tell you something very curious, when September 11 happened,
we in the city greeted us, do you need water?, Do you eat?, How I can help?,
That was September 11, this week, well after the September 11 happened we went back to the elevator
and even good morning, good afternoon, anything, so we are aggressive we are a city, like you,
for example in the city, go to the park, and another person to leave the park,
a note on the face of the person as your face changes, both entering and exiting the park
and you will say why not, one of these sit on one of the benches for you to see, what is that?,
that man has cultivated an aggressive rather than cultivate the gentleness and his compassion
is so minimal and we must be aware of this fact.
May almighty God bless you, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit descend over you, your family and jobs.
May the Lord protect and be with you forever. Amen
