Hi, my name is Lauren and I'm here to tell you how to dye away the grays. You can go
and pick up color at any beauty destination. Also, many CVS, Walgreen's. Any nearby pharmacy
would also probably have any color. It depends on whether or not you would like to use boxed
color or professional color. Professional color you can get at Sally's Beauty Supply.
They do sell it to the public. You are going to want to start. You are going either for
application method either a bowl and brush or you are going to want a bottle. It depends
on the thickness of the color. So which one would be easier and plus also which one is
easier for you. In order to dye the grays, if you are using a brush and a bowl, you are
going to simply get the color on to the brush. You are going to start at your root and ultimately
paint the color on wherever those grays are. If it is the first time that you are coloring
your grays, you are going to use that color and go from the root to the end of your shaft.
That way you can cover the gray from root to end. If you are simply doing a touch-up
of color already on. You are going to go only where that gray is. So that way you avoid
color buildup. You are going to use tail end of your brush in order to section your hair
and move to that next section while continuously painting on the color. If you choose to use
a bottle for application purposes you are going pretty much do the same exact thing
with the bottle. Except, you are going to use the nose of the bottle in order to do
your sections. lay the color on and use your thumb in order to really push the color into
that hair. Same thing. If you are doing a retouch you are going to only go where the
gray is. You are going to stop when that line of color is. If you are a first time doing
your hair, you are ultimately going to go through and cover strand from root to end.
That is how you dye away the grays.
