so south carolina desperately wants to move forward with a voter i_d_ plan
to basically discriminate against the poorer and minority voters and as many
democrats as possible
so in an attempt to tell legitimize calling for voter i_d_
attorney general alan wilson demanded an investigation at the into the last
election
because there were allot of
suspicious names that voted
and possible criminal activity
specifically he argued that people were using
names of the deceased
to vote
and he said it happened
hundreds of times so he's making a strong claim of local there's a lot of
voter fraud here in south carolina
so it was thoroughly investors investigated as they wished this state
republicans the attorney general
and it turned out i was that his concerns
may have been merited
there was a grand total
uh... zero cases of people using their dad's name is
and in fact the investigation went further
there were zero cases on voter fraud at all
in the state of south carolina
in the last election
quote the report found that whatever issues existed were usually do to human
error like a clerical mistake for scanning problem and not because anyone
intentionally impersonated
a deceased person
so for example hundreds of errors were due two mistakes like if using a father
and son who share the same name which is understandable
so here's my favorite part about this
the attorney general in the state republicans work told about the findings
of the investigation
and their response was that that that's ok anyway so we're gonna go ahead and do
go riding anyway
yeah but wait a second you wanted to do this investigation to see if there was
voter fraud in and there was voter fraud and you take action against some sort of
thing to curtail right
well the report is unequivocal
it says there is
payroll or poor you can't get less than zero one of you know that
when united seven cases of voter fraud
but even in bed that have been some doubt the rules of logic didn't apply
they would still say uh... galliano variety we had a variety
because it's not a bad out stopping voter fraud it's about discriminating
against
poor voters minority voters and democrats they mentioned that there was
another on a speech in the last election
who said with our were ideal or run they will probably win our state yet the
there are open about it
now if you don't believe me based on that understand there's been a other
studies done on this
they looked at
every election from the year two thousand until today twenty thirty every
election
millions all the votes cast three separate studies
you know the findings are
one says they were
instances of voter fraud
another one says nine the highest number
it's not an issue
it's simply not initiate did you know
it's more likely
you'll die from being struck by lightning
or you'll die from by shark attack
then there are actually instances of voter fraud
there's more deaths by vending machine accident
i mean i think that barlow now to spy on it
that happens more often
then voter fraud
gee i wonder why republicans are pushing for the laws
