Brita OB35 and OB39 Riviera Filter Pitcher Hey everyone, Tony the Filter Doctor here.
Today we’re looking at the Brita OB35 and OB39 Riviera Filter Pitchers.
These units have an eight cup capacity with a very slim form factor. They feature an easy-fill
lid, which really is convenient when refilling the reservoir because you don’t have to
remove this entire lid every time you do it. And it also has an electronic filter change
indicator, which is convenient so you don’t have to memorize, or keep track of it on your
smart phone, or have a magnet on the refrigerator. Just turn the unit on and it will automatically
alert you when the filter needs to be changed. Now, like all Brita filter pitchers, these
units use the OB01, which is also known as the OB03 when sold in a three pack. This filter
is NSF Standard 42 and 53 certified to reduce lead, mercury, cadmium, zinc, sediment, and
of course, chlorine taste and odor. Now the white version is the OB35 Riviera,
and over here we have the OB39 Riviera, which is a lovely chrome that looks great if you
have stainless steel appliances. This is a medium sized pitcher; it’s not
the largest capacity Brita offers and it certainly isn’t the smallest. A nice middle size;
fits in just about the space of a gallon of milk, just slightly larger than a gallon of
milk. Again, this is the Brita OB35 and OB39 Riviera
Filter Pitcher, and I’m your host Tony the Filter Doctor.
Thanks for watching.
