Hi it’s Steve from PartSelect. Today we are going to show you how to change the track
roller kit on your dishwasher and it’s a really easy job, all you are going to need
is a small flat blade screw driver and a Philips screwdriver, let me show you how we do it.
Now the first step in this repair will be to open the dishwasher door, and we are going
to pull the upper rack out and completely empty it, and we’ll need to remove the rack
from the rails, so once we've emptied it, we will take a flat blade screwdriver and
we’ll pop those rack stops off, just depress the locking tab, and slide the rack stop off
the end and the same on both sides, and just depress them enough that they will clear that
catch, slide the upper rack completely out, and then the roller that we are going to remove,
we’ll also need to take that track completely off, so we’ll need to remove the rack stop
on the backside of it, and it's identical to the one on the front, so just depress the
stop and push it off, set that aside and then completely slide the rail over the rollers,
then with the Philips screwdriver we are simply going to unscrew that center axle on that
roller, there are two different styles supplied with this kit, so match it up with the style
that is on your dishwasher, some have a fixed rear washer on them, and the other ones have
a separate washer, so whichever one your dishwasher is using that’s one you will replace it
with, simply line up the new roller, thread it into place, make sure it is tightened firmly,
verify that the roller still turns and we’ll take our rail, slide that carefully through
both rollers, we’ll reinstall the rack stop on the end, and the catch goes on the outside,
it is snapped in place so that it locks, pull both rails forward, we’ll reinstall the
upper rack, and then we will put the rack stops in place again making sure that they
latch firmly, and our repair is complete. I told you it was an easy job, thanks for
watching and good luck with your repair.
