The Google Search Appliance brings the power of Google Search to your business to provide
intuitive, accurate search results across your Internet or public website.
Your company's information is stored in many formats, such as documents, spreadsheets,
and presentations. It's also stored in a number of repositories. The Search Appliance can
index more than 220 file types, and searches across your Internets, Portals, Fileshares,
Databases, and Business Applications, such as ERP and CRM systems. It also indexes content
management systems, such as Documentum, FileNet, Livelink, Lotusnotes, Sharepoint, and many
others. With the Google Search Appliance, searching your company's information is as
easy as searching google.com. Not only does the Search Appliance provide users with highly
relevant results right out of the box, but it automatically improves search relevance
over time. The Google Search Appliance also gives users a personalized search experience.
For instance, a Marketing Manager may be interested in search results containing marketing documents,
while an Engineer may want code and design documents. The Search Appliance taps the collective
wisdom of the organization and incorporates social search features, such as user-added
results and query suggestions. And, it includes global features, such as Cross-Language Enterprise
Search, which allows users to translate queries and search results across 51 languages in
real time. The Search Appliance supports secure search
results, so that users can only find the content to which they have access. Administrators
can configure the Appliance to use a variety of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
And with Universal Login, the Search Appliance dynamically generates a single Login page
for the user, and securely passes the Login informaiton to backend systems, making secure
searching across multiple systems easy. The Search Appliance offers Administrators a variety
of Customization Settings to optimize search to their needs. First, the Search Appliance
provides key biasing features, such as source, date, metadata collection, and known biasing,
all of which allow you to fine-tune relevance. Should you want more control over the search
results user interface, you can use your own look and feel, and integrate your search results
using an XML API. With advanced reporting, you can track every
query, click, and user. Using real time diagnostics, you can quickly diagnose and resolve any configuration
that's used. And with GSA Unification, you can scale effortlessly, by connecting multiple
appliances across departments or geographies. The Google Search Appliance comes in two simple
product models. The GB 7007 for license counts between five hundred thousand and ten million
documents, and the GB 9009, for even higher document counts, all the way up to billions
of documents. Searching in your organization just got a
lot better, no matter how much content you have. With the Google Search Appliance, you
get the best user experience to find information, powerful customization and security features,
and the ability to search thousands, millions, even billions of documents. Contact us to
