Hi, I’m Becky. And I’m Marco. We’re here for the Living Clay Company to demonstrate
how easy and simple it is to mix Living Clay Detox Powder into a premixed liquid form.
This liquid mix can be used for clay baths, foot soaks, detoxing, just all around body
cleansing. The Living Clay Powder is pretty much just the calcium Bentonite clay that’s
known for its exceptional drawing abilities and detoxing abilities. Basically, it’s
a volcanic ash with all of the impurities having been burned out leaving behind only
trace minerals that are highly charged with negative ions and electromagnetic activity.
So what the clay actually does is it acts sort of a catalyst for the body in helping
to cleanse, detox and balance itself. Now since all clays are a little bit different,
the instructions we’re about to give you are specific to the Living Clay brand of calcium
Bentonite clay.
When mixing your powder to a liquid consistency, you’re always going to use the rule of thumb:
eight parts water to one part clay powder. We’re going to demonstrate this using a
sixteen ounce food grade plastic container. You can also use a glass container if you
like; just make sure you have a plastic lid for your container when you’re ready to
store it.
So I’ve already filled this container here with about half full of water. I’m going
to use a plastic funnel and a plastic tablespoon to put the clay into the water. Now two tablespoons
is going to equal one ounce, so for this particular mixture (sixteen ounces) with my ratio in
mind, I’m going to use four tablespoons which is going to equal my two ounces of powdered
clay. I’m going to lightly tap it on the side of the funnel. And the purpose of the
funnel is just so that my clay doesn’t get clogged in the spout of my bottle on its way
down.
One last heap. There we go. We can go ahead and I’m going to put the lid back on and
just give it a rigorous shake here. Shaking will just allow the clay to settle throughout
the water and prevent it from clumping together. Okay once we’ve given it a good shake here,
we’ll go ahead and remove the lid and add a little bit more water so that we can get
our line all the way up to the top here. When you’re pouring just make sure you leave
just a little bit of room at the top. That’ll just allow room for when you shake it, the
clay to move around a little bit. Okay, so we got that to the top. I’m going to put
the lid back on and give it one last shake to get the clay all throughout the water and
then we’re going to let it sit.
Allow your clay, once it’s in its liquid consistency, to sit for about 10 minutes for
appropriate expansion and swelling. By the way, when you’re storing your liquid clay,
you can keep it in the cabinet, your pantry, you can even keep it in your refrigerator.
Again, the clay has been around for more than forty-three million years, so storing it is
not going to do any harm to it. It’s going to stay fresh for months.
When you’re finished using your bottle of liquid clay, you may find that there’s some
sediment that’s settled on the bottom. Go ahead, add some more water to it and give
it another good shake and pour it on your plants, because they benefit from the trace
minerals, too.
So there you have it. That’s how simple it is to mix the Living Clay Detox Powder
into a liquid form. If you have any other questions or you need any more information
