Hi it’s Steve from PartSelect. Today we are going to show you how to change the drip
bowls on your range and obviously it's a very easy job and let me show you how we do it.
Now to do this repair we will begin by pulling the element out of the drip bowl, lift it
up on the opposite end from the terminals, pull it straight out of the terminal block
and while we have that out let’s check the terminals and make sure there's no signs of
corrosion or arcing and if there is we should replace both the element and the terminal
block, let’s set the old drip bowl aside and the new one may not look the same but
it is designed to fit this model, so put the oval opening lined up with the terminal block
and we will slide the element into the terminal block and the backend of the element will
fit into a slot on the drip bowl, make sure everything sits flat and to prolong the life
of your drip bowls and keep them looking new longer we suggest that you wash them on a
regular basis particularly after any spills and you can wash them in the dishwasher and
our repair is complete. I told you it was an easy job, thanks for watching and good
luck with your repair.
