Welcome to PopUp Cooking,
where we ask our viewers to share some
of their favorite Thai dishes with us.

And today on PopUp Cooking we're making Thai Tea Macaroons.
Let's check it out!
Fon loves to make Thai Tea Macaroons
for all of her friends.
She uses with a traditional macaroon recipe and adds
Thai Tea Powder to give it that special twist.
First she sifts her almond powder,
Thai tea mix and powdered sugar
before folding in whipped egg whites.
She then places the mixture in a pastry bag
and pipes the batter on parchment-lined baking sheets.
While those are cooking, she prepares the chocolate filling.
And then it's just a matter of assembly.
Once the macaroons are baked, she pipes some of the chocolate
on one side and then makes a little sandwich.
And there you go – Thai Tea Macaroons.
