I was so happy to join in and do this class and you know I wanted to learn about my camera
and I did, I learned about my camera. I enjoyed the new whole world with photography. I didn't
know that I can do beyond my creativity. Now I am a lot more confident with my work and
stuff. It's made me more comfortable with who I am because I don't I found out that
I don't have to take the same type of pictures that everybody else is taking. I've gotten
a lot more creative since the creativity workshop because I learned like how to actually show
emotion and stuff in my pictures. I took the class because I love taking pictures. Like
before the workshop I thought the only nice thing to take pictures of was flowers, no
not anymore. Everybody has a different perspective of what you're asking them to do. So you're
never totally sure if you're right but then as you always say in class, you're not right
or wrong, so but so it is challenging. There not your traditional type of what I thought
of a workshop would be. It's more people getting together, sharing ideas but doing things that
you wouldn't do normally, like out of your own comfort zone. Ya off the wall. What surprised
me about the class is that in addition to learning about the technical aspects of photos
is that I learned about expressing myself like but in a creative way. And I think that's
what makes these classes different, unique, is that the technique drives the creative
aspects of taking pictures. The atmosphere is just mind blowing, everybody's so laid
back and relaxed and everybody just themselves and that's important. The acceptance of being
you, be who you are, it's a great thing. And this is teaching you how to use your creativity,
it's a totally different course. You're not getting the same thing, you're not paying
for the same thing. I absolutely love it, to hear not only critizism which brings you
to a next level, it's also a positive thing to see different views, how you take pictures,
what you try to express through your pictures. Some pictures, nobody will like it but some
of them they just make you think and the group discussion, it's all about positive. I see
different, I feel different, I breath different, It's a it's a new chapter of my life. You
know what, this is the new me. This inspired me to get more out there and try to practice
a lot more to get better and learn more things about my camera and how to use it and stuff.
I needed some creative outlet and I think I found my medium. Oh I think, I think it's,
it does all of us the world of good. For sure on our photography but just as people. I think
it just, it's like therapy and photography lessons all in one. I had a blast. I did,
I had a blast. It's more like an experience than it is just a class. Because throughout
the whole thing you're having a blast, laughing, you know, having a great time. You just like
enjoy yourself so much that you want to continue doing it. I like it. It's always fun, laid
back, easy going. There is no right or wrong. It's just you , your camera, your imagination.
I'm so confident, I'm like, I leave here and I'm like, yes, the next shot I take will be
an award winning picture. The workshops suck you in and you can't get out. The three day
workshop is an experience that at the end you feel different. It's very addictive because
when your creativity gets low, if you come here, it just sort of spurs you on. It's such
a good vibes, you know. I like, it's just like so much fun. Having two instructors,
you'll get your answers, answers instantly, right, right there. Because like in photography,
the moment will be gone in a second and you forget what you wanted to ask. They're very
personalized workshops. It it is just like so in a way laid back and challenging at the
same time but not challenging in a way that you don't like it. It's like, it's fun challenging.
What I found that when we were on the field taking photographs, what was great was this
immediate feedback. There's someone always available. You sort of walk around and you
get to be with Sonya and them we get to be with you and it works out great cause we get
two different perspectives as well. When you're doing a workshop, you feel like happy, I guess
like. I don't know, like, for me I'm so happy getting nice shots and I'm sure that's the
way a lot people feel when they take a workshop like that if they're interested in photography
or you get really happy when you get a nice shot. And when I did this workshop, I did
get a lot of nice shots, so I was very happy. In one of the class, I remember thinking,
I'm being treated like a colleague, not the student, not someone who who has nothing to
say. You know. And that's kind of fun. I'm not thinking about what I should be doing
what I could be doing I'm I'm just in the moment there, it's making me grow. Your confidence
builds, that's why they're addictive. It's incredible. You can't stop. It's extremely
addictive. I described your workshops to someone, I said, Kharim's class they're good for the
soul.
