In this segment we are going to talk about removing, cleaning and replacing the air filter
and generally we recommend that the air filter be examined once a week, more often in more
severe cases and under severe conditions for example if the oven were positioned in front
of a breading station. So, approximately once a week get a look at the air filter, make
sure it is clean. To remove the air filter, using a screw driver look at the thumb screw
and remove it from the right side of the machine, slip the filter off the pin from the left
side and hold it up to the light to see how dirty it is. To clean it, brush with soapy
water, rinse properly and sanitize, allow it to dry and to replace it just reverse the
process to remove it. Slip it on to the pin, begin screwing it in and finish attaching.
Additionally, there is a way to set a filter reminder, and that is set by hours. To set
the air filter cleaning reminder, open the door and while pressing the star pad, press
the seven pad. Program and H will appear in the display. H means hours. So we are going
to put in one hundred hours of cooking time before the filter reminder is activated. Then
just push program and that will enter your one hundred hours of cook time. So now after
one hundred hours of cook time, at the end of each cooking cycle, FILT will appear in
the display. You can still operate the oven, but it would be good to re-clean the filter
and reset the filter clean reminder.
