For half a year I was now on my own and
Istanbul immediately mesmerized me.
day.
The glitter of the Bosphorus and the infinite diversity of this city enchanted me every day.
My dream being between two continents became reality and I first had to get used to walk beside veiled women and the call of the muezzin through
the narrow streets of Istanbul,
where I fell in love again and again to the city. If I wanted to escape from the bustle of the city,
I took the ferry to one of the Princes'Islands and there I watched the sunset.
After two months, I packed my things and flew to the capital of Egypt.
Not just the hot weather, but also the chaos in Cairo overwhelmed me and I lived in a world like I have never seen before.
With my egyptian familyI celebrated Christmas under the sun
and we simply ignored the riots in the city.
When most were asleep, I was sitting in a bus full of Egyptians on my way to
Israel at night.
Dahab was my stopover.
There I learned about the life of the Bedouins and climbed at night between camels and bitter cold of Mount Sinai to experience with other onlookers the sunrise between the mountains.
Arrived at the Israeli border, I suddenly have been in a different world.
Where people stopped by red and used the
seat belts in a taxi.
For one month I explored Jerusalem and Tel Aviv through CouchSurfing and
met the craziest people there.
One last time having breakfast on the beach before I went to Ein Gedi on the Dead Sea where looked back to half a year full of adventures
and challenges and I told myself one last time:
enjoy the last day of freedom.
