We're coming up to the last song for tonight
which is titled "The Peace I Know"
but before we start
I'd like to loose a few words about it
Well, as the title reveals
the song talks about the word "Peace"
but particularly about the discrepancy...
..or the contradiction between the original meaning of the word
and the way it is used in reality
Many of the situations that are labeled as "Peace" in our world
don't match the original meaning of the word in any sense
Just look at most of the wars of the last ten years
in most of those cases "Peace" is declared after the so called end of the war
as the situation usually becomes much crueler
I just can't understand how anyone can go to war to make peace
because...
Peace ISN'T the calmness after the end of a war
but rather a feeling of brotherliness and love
that should exactly stop us from going to war
That's what the next song is about
