Hi all! We Salvo and Irene!
Welcome to our new video.
Today we would like to tell you our first impressions
about Marvel Heroes, a free to play hack'n slash isometric MMORPG.
We love too much Marvel characters - even though "too much"
does not make the idea of how much we love them -
and we could not have jumped at the chance to try this MMO
where our favorite heroes are the protagonists.
Consider that we play - though perhaps it would be more appropriate
to say "we nerd out" - to a browser game inspired by the Marvel world,
whose title is Marvel Avengers Alliance published by Playdom
Yes, it's better to veil, in this game you have a big luck!
Returning to the speech, Marvel Heroes has just come out on June 4th,
and it was published by E. Gazilion in collaboration with Secret Identity Studios.
At first impression, the game looks like a "lite" version of Diablo3,
a version with a lighter and less detailed graphic, but with the possibility of playing
in pvp mode since release, something that has not happened in Diablo3.
That said, we recommend that you leave a little comment on our Youtube channel
with your impressions of the video of this new MMO.
We leave you now with our First Impressions made just for you!
For players by gamers! Bye!
Hello everyone, let's start now choosing the hero with which we start
to conquer the world of Marvel Heroes and defeating the most famous villains of comics.
The characters that we can choose at the beginning are five:
Daredevil, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Storm and The Thing.
I chose Storm and Salvo chose Scarlet.
Playing the tutorial mission, at first look, we can tell you that
there are some things that stood out in particular:
the heroes and villains of the Marvel are faithfully reproduced,
animations and gameplay are well cared for
even you can interact with the environment by moving objects to hurl at enemies
and they also break things like HULK! Hulk, smash!
Bosses have a good degree of challenge, especially for those
not accustomed to this type of game.
The impression is that it is rather encouraged teamwork and interaction with
other players since the bosses to defeat attack by following certain patterns
that should be carefully stored to not fail.
You will then need to move always and carefully to avoid the most dangerous moves.
Just out of the tutorial we will be within the overall command of S.H.I.E.L.D.
a sort of rallying point for players where you can find the various standard
functions typical of an MMO, such as NPC for the craft, vendors, bank and access to PVP.
Shortly we will be transported through a quest in an open world map to explore
even if it's not an open world, but instantiated large maps
and even there we will need help from our teammates to pass through the areas
and interact with the environment to discover hidden quests.
about the missions, we like cutscenes that have a unique style,
typical of Marvel comics, giving the impression to "live"
inside of a comic book, in the role of own favorite hero
in the fight against villains.
The missions are not exceptional in itself, they have the usual classical system
that signals a quest to take, and also the objectives are the classics of many MMOs.
The choice of the initial character is not binding, since it is possible
to change hero as often as you want, each hero with their own abilities
and strengths (and weaknesses), it is only necessary to unlock the various heroes
through the shop (then real money) or having luck in the drop,
with the completion of the tutorial you get an additional random hero
from loot the final boss.
A flaw of the game is definitely the aesthetics of the characters:
each time you equip a piece of armor, we will not see any aesthetic difference.
In the shop there are costumes to differentiate with other players, for the rest
of each hero is aesthetically equal to the same hero of another player
Yes, for us, girls, it's not good at all!
The craft is simple to use, there is an NPC that allows you to perform alchemy
on the materials that you will get around in the world of Marvel,
being able to create Medipack, upgrades for heroes and for the equipment,
items for the unbinding and customs. The NPC also can offer better items
if we donate to them items maybe we do not need, feature that I saw the first time
on Dragon Nest (for those who know it): on the NPC tab you will find a bar like
an EXP bar, that it will increase whenever we give objects,
and unlocking new levels, new better objects are achieved.
In contrast, however for some things it seems to us that
the game is still in Beta stage of development.
The graphics is not that good and personally it doesn't excite me
although in my opinion it has a good level - and in the options
it lacks many advanced settings to increase or decrease significantly the quality.
The skills that the character can hold in your bar are limited,
it is not a big problem considering that this is a typical feature of many
Hack 'n Slash and Action Game, but the skills available for each hero are very few.
Maybe this thing for developers has been solved by giving the ability
to change hero easily, but personally I see it as a limitation in setting up
synergies between the skills with the hero we are using at the time.
In conclusion, the game does not look bad, pointing out that it is still
in the initial stage of its release and there will be fix and update (hopefully) to improve it.
About lacks, in fact, there are a lot of them, relevant ones,
including especially not to keep the player glued to the screen
because it stray from attractiveness and involvement.
Our video ends here, we hope you enjoyed it
and share it with your friends.
Greetings from Salvo and Irene, with our Impressions
for players by gamers!
See you soon. Bye!
