Hello, I'm Helena from Electrolux and in this video I'm going to show you how to replace
the spray arm on an Electrolux dishwasher. Now, spray arms can become damaged by knives
and other sharp utensils or they can become clogged by lime scale, but luckily they are
very easy to replace as they simply just click on and off. Now the first thing you need to
do is ensure that you have the correct type for your particular model, and in order to
do that you're going to need to know your dishwashers product number. Now your product
number can be found on your rating plate and on a dishwasher rating plate can usually be
found just around the outside of the door. Now the product number is always between nine
and eleven digits long and it's different from your model number. Right, so I'm going
to start by replacing the top spray arm, and to do this I just need to undo the top clips
and remove the top basket. Right, so to remove the old spray arm take it just by either side
and with a little bit of pressure and a twist it should just come straight off. There we
go, so, take the new spray arm, pop it on top, and with a bit of pressure into the middle
it should just click back into place - you might need to push quite hard though. There
we go, it's as simple as that. So removing the bottom spray arm is just as easy. First
of all, just remove the bottom basket, and then if you turn the spray arm towards you,
and with a bit of pressure just pull it out. It's as simple as that really and then you
pop the new one in, and with as bit of pressure again just in the middle it should just click
back into place. Spray arms for most models of Electrolux dishwasher are available on
the Electrolux website. Thanks for watching.
