Hello, this is Ryan from
RyanHanley.com and today I'm going to
teach you how to create
your own free blog graphics
in less than three minutes.
The very first thing I want you to do is go to StudioPress.com.
That's www.studiopress.com.
Studio Press is a
premium WordPress theme design company.
They have free resources that you can use.
One of those free resources is free web graphics.
And then, once you get the
free web graphics, you come down
to light background patterns and
I want you to download those light background patterns.
After you download the background
patterns, you're gonna go to
www pic, p-i-c, monkey, m-o-n-k-e-y, .com.
Picmonkey.com.
You're gonna click edit a photo.
You're gonna pull up your light backgrounds.
In this case, we're gonna use blue.
And now you have the background of your blog graphic.
The very next thing you're going to do is add some text.
Pic Monkey has a bunch of different texts that you can choose from.
In this case we are gonna use
base 5, which is kind
of a premium level
or kind of different from the norm font
design.
The words that
we want on there are
How to, if I could spell,
How to Monetize a Blog
for Business. In this case,
that's also the title of the
blog post that I'm creating this graphic for.
Once you have that you
can shape the text however you like.
And this, I'm just going to center
align it, put it
in the middle here like this.
I'm going to make the back the text.
Now we're going to take and
make the text white, and
then so, I've made the text white on a blue background.
We're gonna use this little beaker thing.
Come up here and these
are different text effects that you can use.
Urbane is a good one.
Intrepid is a good one and that's actually what I'm going to use.
So I apply Intrepid.
It gives it a little funky look.
The white pops off the blue.
You can see all the different text effects over here on the left.
Now that I have my graphic,
I'm gonna come to this little
thing here and you're able
to resize the photo, 250 x 200.
That means 250 wide by 200 pixels tall.
That's perfectly fine so I'm gonna leave that alone.
I'm gonna click save.
I'm gonna name this monetize a
blog for business.
I'm gonna click save.
And click save, and there you have it.
In three minutes we have
created our very own
blog graphic for free.
It's not complex.
It's very, very simple, but
using some light background
patterns from Studiopress.com and the
free online editing tool,
picmonkey.com we're able to
create an easily uploadable
blog graphic that gives a
unique feel and design to
our blog post and also
is going to be
able to completely let anyone
know what this is about
when we share it in social media
So, I'm Ryan Hanley
from ryanhanley.com and this is
how you create free blog
graphics in under three minutes.
Thank you.
