You know I always was fascinated by real estate and I was the kid that probably drove my parents
crazy wanting to go to open houses growing up, and always loved architecture, always
loved seeing what was new and the way people designed their homes and lived and all of
that, and I'd always thought about real estate. I came to the city to practice law and I was
still intrigued by the idea of selling real estate, but I was scared by it. It's a commissioned
based business, it's all totally eat what you kill. So after practicing for a few years
I did something in entertainment, figured I was in a place to reinvent myself or at
least re-evaluate what I was doing, and felt like if I was ever going to try real estate
that was the time to do it. I knew I had X amount in my bank account, and I would give
myself Y amount of time, and if it worked out great, if not then I could do something
else. Thankfully, I knew I would love it and I found that to be true from day one, and
then it started working out. I'd say it was pretty evident that I could do it pretty well
and pretty early on, and so it stuck.
