Hi, my name is Brandon Sarkis, on behalf of Expert Village. Today I am going to show you
how to make peanut brittle. Here we are with our peanut brittle nice and laid out on a
tray. I have the timmer set for twenty minutes right now, before you can touch it. But you
can see right now it is already starting to firm up, you can touch the edges, you can
feel how its hard so what you don't want to do is you don't want to get impatient and
go for it couple minutes after you make it. Let it sit for a good twenty minutes to a
half an hour, depending on the temperature where your working at. Like I said I turned
the ac down to sixty eight, so it will be like twenty minutes for mine. But what I would
recommend you do right now while your waiting for this is, instead of sit here and stare
at it and wish you can eat it. Is start scrubbing up that pan that you just cooked it in. Cause
the longer you let that sit the worse the mess is going to get. What I recommend is
just fill it up with some water, let it go ahead and start you know kind of work it into
it and scrap it off. That's what I recommend a non stick pan too. So like I say the last
thing you want to do is don?t stick your hand in this it's really, really hot. Be really,
really careful, let this sit for a good twenty minutes. we will come back in twenty, we will
see how it's looking, might be a little bit longer, but we will come back, in twenty,
if so we will start cracking on it.
