What's up guys? So we're on the set of Madilyn Bailey and
Tyler Ward's new music video. And we're going to be doing makeup.
Yeah! So tell me a little bit about the song.
We're going for a more vintage look because we picked an older song, well an older rock
song from my generation. A 3 Doors Down song.
And so I'm hoping for a bit of a vintage look with a modern twist on it.
We're going to do a little bit of a natural eye look and then a little bit of a pop of
color on the lips. Perfect! That sounds great!
Yay! So let's get into it.
I've already moisturized and prepped your skin, so I'm just going to even you out a
little bit with some foundation. So I'm taking this Bobbi Brown skin foundation
and I'm going to apply it right to the center of the face to even out your skintone.
And I like it because it looks super natural. And I know you're going to be on camera in
like, HD nowadays. It's crazy.
So this is pretty much evened out. Any natural rednesss that you tend to get
through the center of your face and on your cheeks.
I'm going to place this base on your eyelids so that the eyeshadow has something to stick
to. You're going to be moving around, and you're
going to be out in the sun, and all that stuff and we want your eyeshadow to stay on all
day. So now I'm going to place this powder shadow,
which is in Beige on top of that cream. That's just going to give it something to
stick to, and it will keep that cream in place all day.
Now, I'm going to go in with this matte color and this is just going to add a little definition
to your lid. I'm going to take it right from the outer
corner to the inner corner. So now that we've added a little definition
in the crease, I'm going to add a little bit of warmth.
So this is Rose Gold. Still got a little bit of shimmer, but I'm
going to focus it on the lower outer corner of the lid.
I'm going to go in underneath and kind of even out this discoloration that everyone
naturally gets around their eyes. I'm just taking some of this Creamy Concealer
and blending it right under the eye line. So I do get a lot of comments about shine
in my videos. Sometimes you can't help it because of all
those lights like glaring down on you. To address the shine and make sure your concealer
is going to stay in place, I'm going to take this powder and just set
it with a little fluffy brush. So while we're at it, I'm just going to take
a fuller brush and apply this to the center of your face.
We're going to use this Long-Wear Cream Shadow tip to define your lash line a little bit
more. So I'm just going to take it along the lash
line, and smoke it out. I like it better because it doesn't look super
harsh when like when you use black liner. So now I'm just going to set that shadow in
place with this Cocoa color. Eyelash curlers are going to be your best
friend because these will give you the illusion of false eyelashes once you apply mascara.
So I'm just going to curl your eyelashes really well.
You have great voluminous lashes already. So now we're applying waterproof mascara.
In case you decide to cry during your shoot. It's a sad song about missing somebody
and I have a boyfriend at home so I totally understand the song.
So do you think you're going to cry? No. I think Tyler keep my energy up.
Now we're just adding a little bit of blush to your cheeks just to bring a a little bit
of color in. But we don't want to distract from your lip,
which is going to be a nice red. So we're going to take this red liner.
And it's just going to add longevity to your red lip.
But then we're going to put a modern twist on it with this orange lipstick, which will
blend together and look UH-mazing. Alright, I think we're done.
I'm going
to take your hair out. It's so red.
I love it! Yay, I'm so glad you like it!
Are you ready for your video? I am so ready!
You look amazing. Are you ready to shoot this video?
Yes! Okay! Let's go!
Let's go! I think Ricky likes tank tops. I'm not totally
