Clouds build in a bright sky.
The NavAir logo illuminates in the clouds.
The text reads: "NavAir Civilian"
The text and clouds slowly grow then quickly fade to a dark screen
Fade up quickly to a white female in her early thirties

pinned to the jacket.
My name is Laura Langdeau, I've been with NAVAIR
for about eight months.
I served just under five years in the Marine Corps.
I joined in 2001 and was injured in Iraq in 2004.
When I first joined the Marine Corps it was my ultimate this is
my goal, this is what I'm going to do in life.
I always wanted to find something that had some kind
of purpose that, you know, either benefited society
or something and then I got my injury in 2004
And I got medically retired without a --
basically without a clue.
I was lost, you know, and time went by
and I tried this and I tried that.
And eventually after the whole process of applying to NAVAIR
and getting this job I feel
like my injury has taken away a career,
has taken away my purpose but now working for NAVAIR
who is linked to the Marine Corps I kind
of have my purpose back.
I kind of have a reason to go to work every day, again.
So the significance of going to work
and what I do inside feels a little more, you know,
like I serve more of a purpose.
I can't say that NAVAIR is the perfect place for me.
But I know that working through NAVAIR I'm accomplishing a lot
of the same goals that I had when I was in the Marine Corps.
There's a lot of the same purposes.
Is it the perfect place?
I don't really think there is a perfect place.
But I do know with NAVAIR there is promotion potential.
There's so many different groups within the organization
in itself that I can venture out to.
I'm happy where I'm at.
I'm happy working for NAVAIR.
As it stands right now it really can't get any better for me.
I've suffered a lot of loss, I had everything, had nothing
and now I feel like I have everything again.

The logo floats in a cloudy night sky, as stars twinkle through the clouds
The logo and clouds slowly grow smaller
