To be in through season one of The Glee Project was kind of
getting put through the mill.
And I know what it takes mentally.
And I know what it takes-- because you're going to be
brought down a lot.
You have to build yourself back up again.
I'm actually, in an hour I think, going in to join and
help Robert.
And I'm excited.
I'm excited to see the new talent.
I auditioned online, so I haven't actually--
this is my first time at a casting call.
I got here this morning about 6:00 AM
or 7:00 AM or something.
And I got out of the car.
The first thing I seen was a guy lying on the ground with a
sleeping bag.
I said, whoa, what are you doing?
I've been since 10:00 PM last night, he said.
Are you serious?
I was still in LA at 10:00 PM last night.
I think there's two important pieces of advice.
The most important is you have to believe in yourself.
If you don't believe in yourself, then nobody else is
gonna believe in you.
The Glee Project is totally different.
It's thinking outside of the box.
And you have to be yourself in order for writers to be
inspired to write for you.
Tomorrow morning, we start filming
sectionals, so it's intense.
It's been so nice.
I was scared.
It's intimidating, because these guys have been together
two or three years.
So it's very intimidating going into all that, but they
have been so nice.
And I've just fitted in really well.
It's actually a little bit scary.
I've fitted in maybe too well.
It's such a good working environment.
The crew's amazing, the writers, the directors, the
producers, and the cast-- it's really incredible.
