In this breaking news just to hand, we have had unconfirmed reports that airforce plane
radar readings are picking up a radar image of something of significant size underwater
beneath the location of the floating debris. Currently US airforce plane, Posiedon as well
as the Australian RAAF Orion are over the updated search area where satellite images
have noted debris in the Indian Ocean, approximately 2,500 km off the coast of Perth. Search for
the missing Malaysia Airlines MH370 has heightened as all search efforts are being directed to
this new location. No official confirmed reports have been issued as yet by the Australian
government or the Australian Maritime Safety Authority as to whether this is or is not
the missing flight MH370 with 239 passengers on board. However, satellite images do confirm
that debris, in particular one piece measuring about 24 meters in length, have been spotted
floating on the surface of the water.
