I hope George Clooney's as good in this as he was in "Batman and Robin".
♪
(Clooney as King) I'm the "backup parent' - the understudy.
And with a little Elizabeth, my wife in the hospital,
my daughters are testing me.

(Alexandra) Get out of my underwear, you freak.

Real good job you're doing.

(Tommy) I really enjoyed this movie, so much.
What a great story this was.
And just surprise after surprise.
A lot of things that, pardon the pun, you never saw coming.

(Tommy) And the acting in this one is just fantastic.
I mean, George Clooney is spectacular as the dad.
He does such a great job of just getting you into his character,
and giving a real connection with him.
I mean, it works so well, the story telling too.
What's up, bro?
Don't ever do that to me again.
♪
(Tommy) There's a couple of kids this one, and they're fantastic.
Especially Shailene Woodley.
She plays his older daughter,
and my god, she is wonderful.
She is just one of those girls that I think we all went to high school with.
You know, that girl that just didn't care, and just went for it.
That's her.
(Shailene as Alexandra) What's up Dad?
What's happenin'?
♪
(Tommy) This one's directed by Academy Award Winner Alexander Payne.
He's the guy that did "Sideways", and "About Schmidt".
Kind of chilled out movies, right?
But if you like them, I think you're really gonna enjoy this one.
And I think this one's probably the best story by far, of all three.
What can I say?
So, for "Descendants", I'm goin' 3½ out of 4 eyes open.
Great story, great acting, great script -
all good.
I guess this was better than "Batman and Robin" after all.
Grow up!
