My name's Claire Eccleshall, and I did the BA (Hons) Education Studies
and the reason I did that is 'cause I work in primary schools.
I'm a nurture group coordinator.
I'm actually writing a book at the moment for teaching assistants who
work in nurture groups
and all the skills I learnt on the course, from a literature point of view
have enabled me to do this really easily.
All the Harvard Referencing and all that really paid off in the end, much as it was
a pain when we first started. [Giggles]
Err, brilliant and just giving you that inner confidence really because
coming from my background in education, you know, talking to senior managers is a
tricky one. You know we've all done it. We've all had full-time jobs and children
and families to look after
and juggling everything and so we've done this together and we've gelled brilliantly as a group
and our tutors were just so supportive and so wonderful so
it's great to have this day where we can all come together and just, you know, give ourselves
a big cheer because, you know, it's just an amazing achievement. It's been fantastic, yeah.
