Connect with friends and family through calls and messages using your Samsung Galaxy S III for Verizon Wireless.
Watch this video to learn how.
Begin by touching Phone from any home screen.
With the keypad open, you can enter the number and touch the green Call icon to place a call.
During a call you can Add to the call, open the keypad, enable speakerphone, Mute the call, and connect to a Bluetooth headset.
Touch the red phone icon to end the call.
At the top there are several tabs.
Recent displays a history of calls to and from the device.
Customizable favorites appear in the favorites tab for quick access to contacts you reach frequently.
Touch Contacts.
While in Contacts you can quickly call any contact by swiping to the right.
Swipe to the left to send a message.
Add contacts to the message by touching the contact icon in the upper right.
Select any additional contacts you wish to be included, and touch Done to return to the message.
Read the following prompt, and touch OK.
Add photos, videos, location, S Memos, and more to your message by touching the attachment icon.
Press the Back key.
When your message is complete, touch the Send Message icon.
Press the Home key.
Select Messaging from any home screen.
To start a new conversation, touch the Create message icon in the upper right.
Return to the Messaging main screen by touching the back arrow.
Open existing conversations simply by touching any conversation.
If this is your first time opening a conversation, your Galaxy S III will prompt you to enable motion.
Touch Enable motion to activate a cool feature called Direct Call.
With Direct Call allowed, you can go from messaging to calling a contact just by putting the phone to your ear.
