to get the most out of your Marvel Comics reading experience, so stay tuned for those
videos coming up later on this week.
Now let's dive into this week's new comics. Out from Marvel Comics this week, I did a
video for it last week but now it's hitting the shelves. We have an Age Of Ultron #1 by
Brian Michael Bendis with art by Bryan Hitch.
If you missed my video previously let me tell you this is a big milestone *** series, actually,
for Marvel and a lot of things are going to be happening in this *** series as well as
affecting the Marvel Universe in general. Like I said, youre gonna have this main
*** series and you can also purchase the Age Of Ultron issues to all the series that
were tying in. Youll still get the complete experience and without being obligated by
a bunch of extra stuff that you don't normally buy, but checkout Age Of Ultron, this week,
it's on the shelves from Marvel Comics, tell us what you think about it.
Out from DC comics this week, the comic so good with its reboot that Randy and I both
wrote a review about it on the website, check it out when you get chance...Green Arrow #18
hits the shelves this week, Green Arrow #17 was kind of a reboot of the series with writer
Jeff Lemire with art by Andrea Sorrentino and the creative team continues with #18,
so be sure to check it out with issue #17. We still got copies on the shelf but everything
changed for Oliver Queen and it's bad for him but great for readers.
So be sure to check out Green Arrow #17, pick up Green Arrow #18 if youre missing a copy,
we have more coming because they've been flying off the shelves. Make sure you add this to
your pull list so you don't miss out.
Also out this week from DC Comics, Batman Detective Comics, this is issue #18, Requiem,
for... well if you know the events in Batman, Inc. #8 then you know what happens. I'm not
going to that here but this is a Requiem issue talking about the events of that, make sure
you check that out.
Also out from DC Comics this week...you've seen the statues, you probably read the hit
web miniseries but Ame-Comi Girls from DC Comics hits the shelves this week. If you
love Ame-Comi style and what was going on with that, now we have a regular print version.
This is a new series of that with the female superheroes of the DC Universe so be sure
to check this out on your pull list.
Also out this week from Oni Press, new series from Sixth Gun writer Cullen Bunn with art
by Joelle Jones. This is a Viking, Warrior, Zombie story that you'll want to check out.
It follows the story of Rickard, the main character of this issue, as he defends his
Viking home from undead and other beastly things trying to attack and kill them but
even in death his work is still not done. So check this out if you're a fan of Cullen
Bunn, check out this series, tell us what you think.
Also out from Aspen Comics this week, in celebration of 10 years of publishing, Legend of the Shadow
Clan #2. #1 is available, it was on sale for $.99 and you can pick up #1 and #2 here in
the shop. This series follows Richard Humura, who's a doctor who witnesses an attack on
his colleague, the colleague gets killed. Richard survives the attack and defeats the
assailant. He later comes to find out that he's the descendant from the legendary ninja
clan called Shadow Clan and he learns more about what it is he can do, what he's a part
of that he never knew of before. This is written by David Wohl with Brad Foxhoven with art
by Corey Smith, so if you are a fan of ninja, intrigue, assassin adventure type stories
this'll be right up your alley so give this a chance here on the shelves this week.
Also out from Image Comics, we have available in softcover and hardcover is The Art of Todd
McFarlane with the foreword by Stan Lee. If you are a Todd McFarlane fan of all his work,
any of his work, this is actually a really nice collection of his early work from a kid
or before he even had any paid gigs all the way through to his even more current stuff
with covers, his homage covers hes been doing on Spawn and stuff he has been doing
on the Image series Haunted co-created with Robert Kirkman.
So if you're fan of Todd McFarlane we have the softcover and we also have the hardcover
edition here in the shop for you to check out and feast your eyes upon.
