Just outside of Sydney is the Blue Mountains, which is a favorite when visiting Australia.
The Waradah Aboriginal Centre is such a neat place to come to learn
all about Aboriginal culture and heritage.
At Scenic World, there are so many different ways to explore the Blue Mountains:
Cableway, Skyway, railway, and walkway.
Wow. What a view. So the Aboriginal legend has it that
these used to be three sisters and they were turned to stone.
Here I go.
I feel like I'm walking on air. This glass floor above the Echo Valley.
That waterfall goes so far down.
I'm on the steepest passenger train in the world. It's 52-degree incline.
Hold on tight! Woooh! It's like a roller coaster ride.
After taking in the views from above, you can head down and enjoy the national park,
and any of the numerous walking trails.
I'm here at the Featherdale Wildlife Park.
I have my passport and I'm ready to check out some Australian creatures.
You're impressive looking.
That pelican is gigantic.
It's amazing to think that koalas sleep 18-20 hours a day.
This guy loves posing for the camera.
Right, Mr. Wallaby? He's so soft.
Come give me a kiss.
From seeing the spectacular Blue Mountains to learning about Aboriginal heritage and culture
to finally hanging out with the kangaroos.
This has been a truly Aussie day.
