I have to say the first thing that comes to mind is the community I mean the
facilities are great it's a beautiful place to be
but the people are what make it really special. I'm surrounded by other art students
and they actually understand what I'm going through as opposed to
being with a bunch of random people who
I really don't have anything in common with.
You could go to the studio together
or work on your stuff and
in general we have
I have like very healthy conversations with my friends
It's nice being surrounded by like your classmates and it's
it's just so easy if you have a group project or something
you can just meet them
in the middle of the night if you have to like
because they're close.
All of the other people that are in your classes
are most likely living with you in Arcadia and so just being able
to go to them and
you can study for tests, do homework with them and just really
bounce ideas around. It's a really big plus.
We're all sometimes very
focused on our majors and that's a good thing
and that's necessary, but
we can just get the influence of everybody else and that's the most wonderful thing.
