Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village and today I am
going to show you the supplies that you will need in order to make mini wreaths, picture
frames and candle rings out of mini pretzels. As you can see, I have a variety of different
styles here. I have many more to show you. Your basic supplies that you need would be
a bag of many pretzels; you can get really fancy pretzels or you can get a big bag of
mini pretzels that only cost a dollar. You will need Elmer’s or some other kind of
white glue. You cannot glue your pretzels with hot glue because it will not keep its
bond. Then you will need some type of embellishment. I use ribbons and bows; I use all kinds of
things that I find from craft stores, from secondhand stores, from a variety of sources.
If you are going to use food, you want to have that ready. Once you have prepared your
base, you can use a hot glue gun to put on all of your embellishments and they will hold.
As you can see here, I have used a tremendous variety of embellishments from my many wreaths.
I have raided by own craft room, I got out a lot of the ribbons and bows and doodads
that I have on hand. Every time I go to a secondhand store, I stop and look at the little
bags of things that they have hanging up and then if I have something specific in mind,
I will go to the scrap booking section or the button section of a store to find exactly
what I want. As you can see, I have laid out quite a large variety of different embellishments
for the different crafts that I make from mini pretzels. So, these are the supplies
you will need to get started; you will need a pair of scissors, if you are going to paint,
you will need paint, if you are going to glitter, you will need glitter, you might want some
wire to put on the back of your wreath to hang it. So these are the basic supplies that
you will need as well as any other extras that you would want in order to make mini
wreaths, picture frames and candle rings out of mini pretzels.
