Now, to the untrained observer you would say this merch table looks pretty complete. However,
they're a couple items still left to put out. Very important. First thing, business cards.
These business cards happen to be double sided. People grab one or the other, it's kind of
fun to see which one they like best, which side they like best. The last part, probably
one of the most important parts of your merchandise display, at least in my opinion, is little
elements of delight and surprise. Like I mentioned before, we got Darth Vader here, all these
little Legos. Now, I have these because the title of our newest album is called When Legos
Learn To Love. I arrange these in different spots on the table. People, it's amazing,
they always love to find something new. I actually have stories that go with each one
of these Legos and people will always ask me about the Legos. They actually try to buy
the Legos. Because I have these Legos people hang around my table longer and they have
better conversations, they get to know us, and they actually buy more stuff as a result
of these. This is Bobby and Laura, they're the Legos responsible for When Legos Learn
To Love. They're engaged. We've got France and Kurt here like members of our little German
racing team. We've got, well he's not Cliff, but we got another Storm Trooper here to go
with Darth. These Legos, they're just little elements of things that people don't expect.
When you have things that people don't expect it just makes them excited and it takes them
into that place of just happiness being around your merchandise table. Just another little
great experience that you can have for your customer, because that's what they are, they're
your customers.
