It was amazing! I love this school.
It's more like a community than a school, really.
Nothing like it is. I didn't expect it to be like the movies, cause they're movies.
But I also didn't expect it to be as amazing.
I thought I would come to school, I wouldn't talk to anybody. My mind was set; school, home.
But I made friends, joined LinX, I went to all the Frosh events.
I did everything, and it was really fun, entertaining, and I can't believe that the first semester is already over.
Everyone says that college is very hands-on, and that the classes are really small.
And, I wasn't sure if that was going to be real.
And coming from a university with classes of 450 students to classes with at most 29, in my program. Is super amazing!
Everyone is super close, you're able to ask your professors questions, and so I guess college does live up to that.
I was expecting it to be a lot more like university.
More like lectures, but it's more hands-on, which I like a lot.
I thought I was a university student, but, I am more of a college student, I have realized.
It was really awesome. I got to meet the reason why I am in radio, and I got to talk to him and get advice from him.
And one of the guys in my class asked if I would help him do a project for the rest of the students.
And I was like yeah sure, whatever, thinking like a party.
Then in November he messaged me, and said, I have tickets to Strombo, do you want to go, and if you want to go, will you help me get the class involved?
The day was good. We got down relatively early. The show was great.
And after he talked to us, he talked to us for maybe an hour and half to two hours, after the show.
He told us about his mom, he told us about his time in school - how he kind of grew up.
So it was just kind of interesting to find out the backstory to who George Strombolopolous is.
Everyone who knows me knows that I am addicted to TV.
And so meeting RJ Mitte from Breaking Bad, was probably the biggest moment of my life thus far.
HSF (Humber Student's Federation) brought him in, and so I got to get his autograph, and take a picture with him.
Which was super cool!
And so the picture I took with RJ Mitte was super embarrassing.
I had the biggest smile on my face.
I like run to him, I am shaking, I am so excited!
And in the picture, I think I am pointing at him, and he had the biggest smile on his face.
I was like, "Oh my God! It is so nice to meet you!"
And he didn't really know what to say to me, because I was so excited!
I got my Humber acceptance letter in the mail along with the Future Humber Student sleeve.
And, I was with my boyfriend, so he took a picture of me holding it.
I posted it on Facebook, couple months later I found out that I won!
Winning the iPad was amazing! Because I really wanted to get one and needed one!
