Hi, this is Shiloe with StyleUnited.
I'm gonna show you how to get glowing skin.
The first thing you should know is just
taking care of your skin in general.
That means drinking plenty of water, getting plenty of rest,
and having a healthy diet.
Next, when you go to start your makeup routine,
one thing I would suggest is picking a foundation
that has a dewy finish.
With a dewy finish, you're getting a more healthy,
radiant glow, therefore, getting more glowing skin.
So I'm gonna start off with my model, Priscilla,
as I'm going to use blush.
It's important to pick a blush that has shimmery, peachy,
or even light pink tones.
That way you're getting a youthful glow,
it's reflecting light from your skin.
The product I'm gonna be using is CoverGirl's Instant
Cheekbones and I'm gonna take a fluffy face brush
and I'm just gonna pick this medium tone.
So you're just gonna load your brush up, tap off the excess
and I'm gonna be applying it on the apples of your cheeks.
If you could smile for me...
It's gonna go from about here and you're gonna slightly
blend upward towards the temple.
It's important not to overdo the blush because you just want
a natural flush of color to get glowing skin.
If you overapply, you run the risk of it looking too costumey
and you also don't want it to look unnatural.
The bronzer I'm gonna be using is CoverGirl's Cheekers Bronzer.
This is in Copper Radiance.
So taking that same brush, you can tap off the excess
and you want to start with a very little amount
and then you can work your way up to more.
So I'm just actually gonna start wherever the sun hits.
So what I'm just gonna do is on the hollows of the cheek.
Right here, here, and blend it upwards lightly.
And, again, you don't want to overdo your bronzer either
because you don't want to look like you just
put tanner on your face.
You just want a nice, natural shimmer.
You can go up along the hairline on the forehead, slightly,
and bring it down to the jawbone.
It's also a good idea to get just underneath the jawline
and the neck, since that's not where the sun hits.
And that's how you get glowing skin.
Remember to be healthy, exercise, drink plenty of water,
and if you have any questions, even regarding your skincare
concerns, please feel free to visit a StyleUnited counselor
for more details.
Thank you.
