The school is named the Christian School of the Deaf
and the sign for the school is like this.
We are located in Managua, Nicaragua.
We teach preschool through high school.
The students participate in vocational classes
including: computers, candle making, sewing and piñatas.
We have 94 students and 30 employees.
We have residential students who sleep at the school,
and there are students who come in the morning
and leave at night.
It is important to know that here we all use Nicaraguan Sign Language.
We also use fingerspelling and practice using our voices.
Deaf people can do the same things that hearing people can do.
Here in school we learn to read and
write Spanish in language and literature class.
We also study math, science, social studies,
Christian education, Civics, and physical education.

In the school I can communicate easily with everyone
