Q: You came to Korea earlier than others, and look good, so how do you feel?
A: The plane was full of other fighters too actually. I am in great condition.
Q: This time you’ll be fighting as “Mr. K-1” against Overeem?
A: I think he has more pressure than me. I have been doing this all my life.
Q: Why do you think he has more pressure than you?
A: I have put on many good fights before, and have much more experience.
Q: Are you planning to try and take out Alistair from the start?
A: No, I am going to move around.
Q: Are you kidding?
A: Yeah.
Q: Looking at the Hari fight, why do you think Alistair could take him out.
A: I guess he made a mistake. I mean, he got knocked out so he did make a mistake.
Q: So, you don’t feel he is as strong as people believe?
A: He is very strong physically. You just have to fight smarter than him. He is strong, but physical strength is not enough.
Q: Did you watch the fight between Hari and Overeem?
A: I think he just went forward, and didn’t fight very smartly.
Q: Did you get shocked when Overeem one?
A: It is their choice to fight a good fight or not, so I don’t get shocked if someone is knocked out.
Q: Some fans felt MMA is stronger than K-1 due to that fight. Does this annoy you?
A: Let them judge after my fight. If he beats me then maybe it is so. If not, it should stop the talk.
Q: Recently MMA is popular than K-1, so as “Mr. K-1” how do you feel?
A: It’s a shame. It is a good sport and a hard sport, so it is a shame. And I think it is exciting to watch too.
