This is the unboxing video for
Google Glass.
I ordered this just yesterday. My name finally got to the top
of the Google glass ordering list
and this is the package as it arrived.
they were nice enough to ship it next day air, UPS
and it did indeed arrive in about a day.
Let's take a look and see what's inside.
The box seems to be sealed with
a couple
strips of tape.
Inside we have
more boxes.
Google Glass box
and these. Let's see what these are first.
This appears to be a lens
for the glass. I assume that that's going to attach the frame.
Not sure why.
Maybe if you want to use them as safety goggles.
I'm guessing that
these are shaded ones
to use Google Glass
as a pair of sun glasses.
There we go. So it seems to come with two different lenses.
Each one is in one
of these little pouches.
It's kind of a fabric. Not quite felt but
kind of a heavy fabric.
Let's get down to the Glass.
Piece of paper looks like it's just glued on.
There is my charcoal
Google Glass.
Right away there's some three-step instructions on the inside of
the lid on how to get started using it.
Step one, turn the device on by pressing the power button.
Step two, adjust the nose bridge.
display should sit just above your field of vision.
Step three, position the display to see
the whole screen clearly. Google.
Here's the tray the Glass sits in.
It looks like it's labeled
so you can see a few pieces
like listen,
on-off,
touch, capture,
and see.
Set the equipment aside
and see what's underneath here
Here's a pouch.
tag on the pouch says the pouch has been crafted using Japanese micro fiber
made from recycled materials designed to be both light and durable. Take this with
you to protect your Glass and its accessories.
Then pictures about how to operate the draw string
on the top of this pouch.
We also have the small box that says Glass on it.
These look like they're different clips to go... or nose...
rubber stops to go on the nose clip.
I assume to pick the right size
for your face.
Now there's two different sizes on here. I'm guessing that what is already mounted
on the Glass may be a medium size and then these are probably smaller and larger.
Here's the charging cable.
It's probably one of the nicest micro USB cables I've ever seen come with
a device.
A very nice flat
cable
with the micro usb connector.
And then
this looks like the wall charger.
Just like that.
The cable to plug in appears to be here.
I'll go ahead and plug it in.
There's a small LED
on the side
that seems to be indicating when it's charging.
The cable's a little short to reach in front of the camera.
So that's it.
There's the contents of Google Glass.
